    Thanks so much for posting this. I've known about steady cams but thought the rigs were complicated and/or expensive. Definitely gonna try making one. I'd like too use aluminum though since it's probably much cheaper than copper, hopefully that works. Thanks also for the brief examples of how to use it, very helpful to newbie filmmakers like myself :)

      +mwinklerdesigns I've found copper to be cheaper in the end, simply because you can solder it together, and fittings are readily available at any hardware store. Don't use PVC or any type of plastic to make rigs like these, it's way too flexible, and makes your footage shaky.

    How inspiry!
    I was excited about the copper, and may use that hardware solution, but the device's conductivity is a safety thingy, so maybe I'd wanna transition to pvc thread for the length.
    Thanx!

    Very nice job dude congratulations! what micro sdcard do you recommend me to use with my action cam HDR-AS15 and my hero 3 white?

    • @forresttrenaman
      @forresttrenaman  8 років тому

      +Renatobighead I always use the High End Transcend or SanDisk Memory. $15 for 32GB is hard to complain about, just don't buy off eBay if it seems too good to be true, there are a lot of fakes out there. And at $10 - $20 for top quality memory I really wouldn't risk the cheap no name stuff.
