Calvin Rodgers closing out the last medley of songs for the 2015 Festival of Praise Tour in Toronto.
I play drums myself....listen to a lot of other drummers...but Calvin's precision is 2nd to none! He IS a metronome!!!!
I would say Chris Coleman is just as good

IMPECCABLE timing, placement, pocket and feel. Not very many can match his ability!! Thank GOD for CALVIN "C-ROD" RODGERS!!
When he started playing the Clap Track Programming with his left hand, along with the groove with his right, I just had to laugh. I've seen him referred to as the Human MPC a few times... but man, what a fantastic player.

+Keith Johnson True but there is a difference between the both. Calvin is a straight Living MPC with Chops and is articulate when he plays and Spanky is A locomotive that just goes crazy when he plays his chops..either way theirmad blessed with The Gift man. 💯🔥💯

i appreciate the responses, but i was referring to the extra stuff with the ipad that may have thrown him off. He can play freely, but he has to stick his fills like he normally does. He still has crazy skill though.

because peopel outside of the "Gospel Culture" in the music world don't know about him that much. I have mad respect for This Guy! Calvin has been a role model in my life and how ive chosen to play. God bless him 💯🙌
