These turned out amazing! 😍😍 I love them!
The wooden discs are so cool and unique! I can imagine some really cute fox and the hound ears with those
Omg that would be PRECIOUS
Love this idea! The only thing I would of done extra is covering the whole of the inner headband. Definitely going to try this, thank you 😊
That’s a good idea!
So cute. You are very crafty.
Thank you!!
These are so cute! The flowers are such a nice touch!
Thank you!!
What a great idea to use the ribbon as a reinforcement. These ears are so cute and perfect for Kats dress!! Thanks for sharing with us- mari
Thanks girl!
Love them. Will try to do them
Yay!!
You’re so creative😩😍Totally a great way to reuse a book especially from ones with crayon markings or whatever. The ribbon was a great idea too! You’re seriously too good, these turned out beautiful!
Thank you 🥹🥹🥹
I haven’t even finished watching the video and I’ve already looked at Amazon for wood slices! I love these ears!!!❤️❤️
They’re soooooo cute! And you can do anything with them!
@@DreamItDIY Now I just need a drill and a saw! 😂😂😂
Hahahahahahah I mean maybe just saw the bottoms with scissors? 😂😂😂
@@DreamItDIY You think? I’ll have to order the circles and play.
On the bright side they make fabulous ornaments if it doesn’t work 😂😂😂
These are adorable 🥰 you did an awesome job!!! I want a pair!!!💕🍄💐🌹🌼🌸🌺
Thank you!!!
These were great. When I saw them in the swap, I was dying to know how you did them , so thanks for sharing! And your right, these open up endless possibilities. I’m wondering if there is something else that can be used instead of the wood that would make it a little easier to assemble. But I love them and I’m going to give it a try.
I believe in you!! I feel like there’s probably An alternative out there but it would change most of the method so I’m not sure what that would be?
@@DreamItDIY yep, it would definitely change it up. I’ve done the resin ears, so maybe that could work. I’ll let you know if I give it a try. 😅
Please do!
Oh no!! I’d never destroy a Disney book, specifically those vintage ones! I’d rather make a HQ copy and use it for the ears ❤️❤️❤️
I totally get that!
I plan on making Luca themed ears to go with my Giulia costume because we will be in disneyland on halloween. I've been trying to come up with a way to make them, and this way is perfect! I think I am also going to make Oswald ears using the same idea as the light up encanto inspired ears! Your ideas are so good!
Thank you so much! I’m sure they’ll come out fantastic!
You don’t have to cut up your book just make a color copy of your book. Instead of the wood rounds that can feel heavy, on your head. You can use 2 thick cardboards glued together or foam board .
I wouldn’t recommend the cardboard for wear, if it rains modpodge won’t be enough to protect them. The wood discs don’t feel any heavier than normal ears in my opinion. I didn’t want to color print because I don’t have a printer 😂 so the book was more cost effective and I like the art. Also I think inkjet might smear as you run the morphed in? Not sure.
@@DreamItDIY I a thick cardstock to print on. Then a clear coat on top. It seemed to work good.
Cute cute...
Wow I’m actually early for once. Anyways, these ears are so cute!! I love them!
Thanks!
@@DreamItDIY you’re welcome!
OmDisney This is so Cute 😍
Thanks!
@@DreamItDIY Welcome
It is an aglet…I learned that from Phineas and Ferb! Very cute idea for ears! Were they very heavy?
THATS THE WORDDDD. THANK YOU! 😂
