It's because the game is 🗑️🚮 it's too 🗑️🚮 compared to the beta but a lot of y'all just sweep that under the rug and before you say I'm hating no I love the game well I actually love what it use to be

@@ogkommrad1228were you playing the beta when it shut down? were you queueing up games when the player count was in the triple digits? likely not. there’s a reason the state of the beta wasn’t good or healthy for a game that seeks longevity, no matter what you say about the current version. pls go look at the gameplay of mvs right before it shut down. it’s stupid when you look at it and realize nobody could predict anything, yes it was fast but holy fuck was it unfun to watch and play. i also love mvs but i agree with the sentiment that this was the best step forward for the gameplay, i think everyone should tbh (and i’m not even talking about the netcode improvements and graphics overhaul)
Nakat pfg should look into Mortys nade hitbox even void whiffing trying to sair them constantly
There is another almost kind of infinite, but they can wiggle out of it where you do the beginning of car and then you grab and then you continue the cycle
I love how inconsistent Arya is, literally u have to be lucky to get a combo. Rip down normal into up special, up normal doesn't even connect properly only the second hit. No one tested the game before release?

Ngl ive been dominant on the basic perks(pvp season 1 winner). Ran into a sweaty wonder women and Steven with so much shield. Made me realize that i need perks to deal with armour. I main batman btw. Also tips for morty is pressure dont give him time to think essentially. Also try to stall the landing to deal with the ground special. Shoutout to Displo for the morty practice.
Yeah I ran into Displo a few times, when he's not on mortgage I beat him but since I never faced mirty before he cooked me once I ran into his morty. Need to run into him again

is morty's whip supposed to not combo into his jabs?
Pretty sure the whip is the last hit of his jab string. Why would they make his jab combo into itself?
Morty knock back need to be nerfed big time he kills at 80-85 consistently with his up air too easily and the snake shot is too strong to be that fast and hard to avoid i feel like projectiles shouldn't have big knock back they should be for damage not easy kills
For me I leave by rematching until I win. I encourage everyone to try it, don't run away if someone's beating you stick it out and try make adjustments each round. Ask yourself what your opp is doing and how to stop it, what you're not doing and tell yourself to start doing it more then get back in. The worst it got for me was 2-7 wins, the dude left after my second win.

I've been struggling against characters like Shaggy and Banana Guard, specifically the players who spam side specials and side air attacks.
I was playing Arya, and it felt like I couldn't get a single opening. Either I got hit and launched, or I dodged by jumping over them, yet I couldn't catch up in time to punish them, so they just turned around and did it again.
I tried using Arya's down attack where she rolls and attacks backward, but my timing was off constantly. I know Arya obviously doesn't have much range, especially compared to those characters, but I felt like I made no progress in learning to counter basic stuff.
I’ve played a ton of BG and generally he looks to find heavy whiffs to punish you with side specials.
But I admit I’m struggling against Shaggy lol. It feels like I combo him to 100 but then he jab locks me into up special uppercut and I die at extremely low percents especially in air.

Movement is so important. I’m trying to analyze your matches. I would to see a beginner friendly movement guide for MVS. I want to know how dodging and boost jumping makes combo strings possible. It just feels like players keep dodging out of my combos, but when I get comboed I can’t Dodge out.
They should give arya grenade from face steal lmfao

If you have dagger u will always throw the snake ball.
that's not how it works... Arya gets two moves from each character. one in the air and one from the ground. For Morty, it's Hammer on the ground & Snake Shot in the air

ngl bro i’m highly disappointed you were on this team and somehow let the game come out as unbalanced as it was… you defending WW was confirmation that pros even on a dev team counts for nothing
I honestly think it’s not that unbalanced (except probs WW), but you can see the rest of the characters tend to vary on placement, like I’ve seen Shaggy been put low A-Tier to Top 3. WW basically the only fully consistent character I’ve seen
But man there are some mad annoying characters
So we just going to ignore the fact the took dash cancel to extend combos out the game for every character that's pretty 🗑️🚮 I like the game but I can't dumb down my I.Q. because other people can't keep up this game is slow and 🚮 and the last update really took the movement and fun out of the game
Actually the movement isn’t that slow… I think that just might be your movement
