Stocks: Healthy Rotation or Concerning Distribution?

- Are the markets shifting in a healthy and positive manner or are concerning signs of institutional distribution increasing? Heading into Friday’s PCE report (the Fed’s preferred measure of inflation), do the markets look concerned or confident?
If the unemployment rate is able to remain steady while the Fed hikes so aggressively and inflation falls back to target, a soft landing might be on the table
I don’t know why investors are increasingly confident the Fed won't raise interest rates again in April.
With inflation still far from its 2% destination - the FOMC will likely maintain a hawkish bias and keep the door open to further rate hikes if the data justifies it.
Fixed income and treasuries may work for you while you try to figure out the next entry point for stocks
I agree It’s always good to have a balanced fin-plan. I work with a professional planner multi mrkt and fixed-income strategist in NY. the fixed income portion of your portfolio won’t simply serve as a buffer to the volatility of the equity portion of your portfolio, but will provide legitimate income.

Again, another excellent breakdown of certain key charts and what they are telling us currently. No matter how strong they are, Chris always keeps us on level ground, recognising that a normal correction can occur anytime, even in the midst of the primary trend, which is currently bullish means that we are potentially subject to a change in the market. where would you rather be if you have an option. Personally I’m always invested aside from a small emergency fund. Financial-market for me seem the only way forward with my long time horizon (accrued almost $1.4m in gains since 2020 ) but if you don’t have that fortune of time it’s a tough market out there almost nowhere feels safe! . Just know the risk you're comfortable with . Mistake is expensive
very informative, one option I suppose is, if you were to invest a set amount buy the whole share in a ETF and the remainder could go into a index for which would allow you to purchase the fractional shares, is that an option?

As a pure chartist, the daily and weekly index charts look so much like the spring of 1995. To me that suggest another four years of a rally, with this year being exceptionally smooth. At some point, this comparison will fall apart, but for now, there are a lot of things going for bulls. for one, seasonally we don’t typically crash in April, and May, or even during the summer (except for the flash crash, which I believe was in May 2010 or 11), and it’s an election year, and the chart looks much like 1995. I am a member of an Elliot wave website that is calling for a huge correction your videos help me feel good about remaining steadfastly bullish at this point in time. Thank you.

I currently have a $280k stock portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and QQQ overlap too much to make sense holding both?
You might also follow a lots stocks across other industries. I'll advise you to work with a financial advisor who can assist you decide when is the best to buy and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire since you don't have to act on every forecast.

Economy is strong as it doesn't rely on end users, its the big tech economy that's driving it, which is why it doesn't matter if the consumer is in debt or their house is being repossessed as AI and tech more than balances it out. They don't need to cut rates.
