The only one I put down was when my parents go through my phone even tho I have an Asian family-
I am allowed to have my door closed but my parents usually call my name whenever it’s closed and ask me to do something but because my door is closed, I can’t hear them so I just leave it open unless I’m changing or sleeping.
I understand most of them are to prevent teens having too much fun with each other if you know what I mean but them thinking you are talking back even if you're not is just too relatable.

I kinda just wanna vent about one of few moments with my mom that were the most traumatic.

I was 8 and my parents told me to wash the floor and since I was little I procrastinated… by procrastinating I was eating yogurt for about only 10 minutes so my mom rushed into the living room and yelled at me and she started spitting on the floor forcing me to wipe it up and laughing while pulling my hair and ripping bits of hair out she continued laughing until I cleaned it all up and now I can’t stomach yogurt because I associate yogurt with this experience this was one of the many extreme cases of how my parents treated me if I don’t behave will that was back in 2016 but it still resonates with me to never eat yogurt.
Ok, I guess my mom is cooler than I thought. I am 20 years old now but still even before 20 she never stalks my social media, she is the one who bought me crop tops and she allowed me to keep my bedroom 's door closed but yes, when I was still a teenager she never allowed me to invite guy friends (she got disappointed on me one time I did it when I was just 15 years old but she never got mad at me and I learned my lesson and never did it again) or to have a boyfriend (well without them knowing and because I chose not to have to because I want to finished school first before dating)
