In my opinion Aj put on almost a career best performance but Usyk is just a level above. If it wasn’t for the events that took place after the fight AJ would’ve been getting a lot more media and public praise & respect but he/ his team ruined it for him
He also didn’t let his muscle memory do the work. There were many openings for him that came during a combo where muscle memory should’ve taken over but he’d stop halfway. That was his fear of getting hit
These old ass “experts” boxing pundits who analyze a fight come nowhere close to how these guys break down and analyze that fight. Great job champs! This is absolutely spot on 👏🏽👌🏽!!!
The Ruiz thing is too real. He's lost his fearlessness because he knows if a guy he thought wasn't the guy can catch him off guard, everyone certi is a real threat. Fair breakdown on the AJ situation still 👏🏾
Perfect example is the relationship with leon edwards and his coaches people who he trust and grown up with I feel aj hasn’t had that relationship with a coach like that who is relatable to him
That is such a good point you both made about AJ mentally telling himself, "I cannot fight like that for 12 rounds, I'm an 8 round fighter" and even training with that mindset. Really good point.
You guys are realists and true. Said it how it is. So much respect. As an asian man born in uk we always had our elders slapping us if we stepped out of line. So many ppl covering for AJ when a spade should be called a spade. Fair play to you guys. Maybe you guys need to be in the AJ team and tell him how it is.
I love the in-depth analysis on how much y’all can tell from how AJ fought. The fact that you can tell or you can assume a lot like their coaching, their mentality, their emotional realm… etc just based on how they fought is actually insane to think about.

Feel like Leon is THE man you want in your camp. Would never let the standards slip but always be positive
