Why no Bot review with using it to fight Automatons? Can’t only showcase for one faction, cuz this thing has two auto cannons on it, which are good for…bots

ran couple games.. walker did great paired with orbital strike on titans.. it does evicerate chargers and titans if you go spam ham.. over all still a 7 of 10
normal rocket and gat hits harder with rockets.. but dual auto went well.. ran em both on bots and bugs
bots work well until you have cannon fire.. anything other than cannon it tanks well... took a couple rocket devestators hits..
only thing i could ask is a strategem or a fix to repair and rearm armored units..
pre-nerfed!
The CO stepping in to help balance is this game's only hope. If I don't hear of a legendary balance patch that brought fun back into the weapons and gear I'm gonna check out.
They need to replace the balancing dev ASAP if they want the game to have a future.
na.. game will be fine without you.. balancing is not a real issue.. just crash fixes are needed asap.
@@denhawken when you're down to only 2-3 weapons being good and 70% of the stratagems being subpar at best we know you don't know anything about balancing at all.

@@denhawken Meta ? they are basically shoehorning us to stuff because they keep nerfing everything and i want a fucking meta ? are you THAT dumb ? w/e i play a mission i see people using the SAME WEAPONS AND STRATAGEMS with little to no variation at all because the other weapons and stragems feels like shit, skill issue ? dude i carry people on diff 9 and i can see the pattern where you basically play diff 6 and say git gud to other people.
fits into the helldivers 2 balancing perfectly. low damage and low ammo. long cooldown with barely enough ammo to kill a bug breach. you forgot to get yourself wrecked vs the bots.

ah yes, merely 100 shots to the titans head to kill it. In other news, the leaks were on point. Biletitan got 750 100% durable head HP and an Armor class of 5. This thing deals 60 durable dmg, but also only has an armor pen of 5, menaing it deals 30. 750/30=25. Why did it take 100? Well, the head is a small hitbox, so most shots miss or bounce off.
To sum it up, it's another joke-strategem that will get overwhelmed and evaportate in second as soon as an objective fight on difficulty 7+ starts. Great.
Who ever is leading the balancing team over at arrow head needs to be fired or transferred to a different department because this shit is outrageously bad, they clearly don't know how to balance the fuckin game at all
I get this game has an exaggerated satirical theme towards Super Earth's overly-touted military might vs. how incompetent and bumbling the military actually is (my favorite lore bit being the upgrade from front loading cannons to rear loading)... but this is just ridiculous. Did nobody on the dev team playtest before handing this horrible strategem to us?

it’s only good right now because we are getting it for free every mission but after that ends I don’t think I’ll ever see this thing being used

Yeah, Im done with this game. Looks like we have another Anthem/Diablo 4 here... once they see only a small piece of the fanbase left, theyll finally give people what theyve been asking for.. but by then.. itll be too late. How hard is it to just give the people that keep your lights on what they ask for? No one is asking to be able to 1 shot everything... why do they nerf shit in a PVE game? This is too weird for me.
I predicted all this stuff on launch, too much hype, doomed from the start. Piece by piece saw it fall apart until the polar dlc released and quit. Peeked back in today and sure as shit all that "DEMOCRACY, FUN PERFECT GAME" nonesense is gone far too late. It was in rough shape on launch, didn't deserve the hype at all, fanbase should have been more focused on legit launch criticism rather than meme-ing

@Gamerhopper It continues to slide into a worse and worse position. People are still not happy with the overall content. Balancing I've heard is awful, still plagued with technical bugs everywhere and tons of bad press lol

Durability damage is only 30 while the AC is 240 and AC Sentry is 300. They need to stop engineering stats and just go with the sim/sand box mindset. Provide some consistency and logic between weapons.
If this is what they want the power of mechs to be, then they might as well lower the cooldown and up the uses by 1 or 2. That is no where near enough ammo to make a difference outside of extractions, vs simply taking most other options.

Hopefully there will come up with a mech reload system or at least a repair capability to parallel HD1.

It's definitely fun against bots, but I had double the call-ins because of the free strategem. With just 2 it wouldn't be worth it. Durability damage needs to be doubled. Or ammo needs to be doubled. Hell live dangerously and do both.

Surprise surprise it's just as underpowered as the rest of the content. The game definitely makes you feel weak. At this point the human race doesn't deserve to win.
Devs need to stop balancing gear base off of ONLY trivial difficulty. So many drawbacks for the cardboard mechs that shoot rubber bullets.
You would think that after working to complete community wide mission that the devs designed, the reward they design would be worth it. We gotta be the ones to tell them to nerf shit at this point 😂
Autocannon Turret does way more damage. Much shorter cooldown and infinite uses. Mech looks cool but it's seriously underpowered.

It needs an upgrade more armor piercing and damage and I call it the bumblebee
Loved this game on release, now it's just in a rough state. All I can do is hope for the best and play something else

I can 100% confirm that it's not ideal for Terminids.
However....
Against Automatons, man this thing feels so nice!
I was obliterating multiple Hulks, Devastators, Dropships and Fabricators, virtually unopposed.
The bots are so extremely oppressive, but with this new mech, it felt like I was forcing their pushes back.
They couldn't advance upon my team at all. Even the line of Berserkers that rush you, got 1 shotted whenever I stomped.
Another content creator explained it as "Damage" and "Durable Damage."
So you're not going to see much potential against heavily armored units like tanks, chargers, titans, gun towers or factory striders, but everything else, it's just gonna tear apart.
And I can pretty much confirm that! If I see a Factory Strider, I'm just going to bail out, but otherwise, I can stand my ground against bots now, and completely shred a bot drop.
On Hellldive difficulty, that feels REALLY good bro!

So you can kill a charger faster with the Senator than with the autocannon mech if you use leg shots. Nice ! Why would I ever pick that thing over a bunch of other stratagems.
Its weapon looks like it would be good against bots. Survivability tho...
I think this new mech is much better vs bots, but u would need a dome stratagem to utilize it properly
As the old one it wouldn't be as bad if we could get to reload it in some way

ive found it can tank a couple rocket devestator hits.. but dies immedialy to cannon fire direct hit.. over all agree works on bots well.. simple fire it is no problem.. i spammed the factory strider from a distance just fine.. then i shot another cannon and its laser out.. then gave it belly rubs.. the weak spot underneath us just like using the regular autocannon..

only thing is a strategem or booster , mabye a patch for it to rearm or repair..
Pretty much need to run an anti-tank as well. Turrets and tanks are its kryptonite.
