For those stuck at 2/3 after finding the 3 tanukis, Ioroi has given you the ward but the game may still be stuck on 2/3 for the quest. Go to your quests and you may see "Hayashi of the Tanuki Forest" and it will bring up "Head to the location of the barrier" like in the video where you can cleanse the last shrine with the 3rd ward that is now in your inventory that Ioroi gave you.

If this is your 3rd ward and you found all 3 tanukis there maybe a bug where the next part doesn’t show up. You can try to go to the place in the video where you cleanse the last shrine in the video and it may activate the next part of the quest.

This strange thing happened to me, I decided to cleanse the shrine at Chinjou forest last and I was shocked when Kazari appeared. I talked with her and then she left. Then Paimon had the audacity to say " Wow Paimon really expected Kazari to appear behind us and give us the treasure". Paimon, she literally just talked with us just a moment ago XD.

For those who stuck at 2/3 go to teleport way point near The Chinju Forest who will get the quest there so you can talk to the lord near the shrine

I walked around Chinjou Forest and talked to the strange voice, I did 2/3 of the locations, and when I was close to finishing the last location, it didn't spawn the sword guy. Like, it was just stuck at the picture instructions.
Same happened to me. Did this happen on the first on he showed us? Araumi? If so how did you fix it

someone help me ive been stuck on this quest for 10 hrs i literally re did ritual 1 and 2 4 times already and im still not getting the cutscene where traveler and paimon talks abt how kazari not appearing after i did ritual 2 and i dont have the "hayashi of the tanuki in the forest" quest ahjskdhjklfd im gonna die
i got the other quest 1 week later im finished now
ok to all of the ppl who already did the first one before the quest dont panic it still works but it wont show you how to do the first ritual. just do what this dude does and the samurai will still spawn :-)

I suffered a stroke and was rushed to the hospital by trying this puzzle on my own.

This glitch happened to me when I was doing the first one. I was fighting some enemies near the last electro thing you had to shoot and I think it’s because of my WiFi. But instead of saying (1/3) it still said (0/3) even tho I did it

what happens if u alry did the puzzle before u got the quest i doesnt let me do it again
those who are stuck at 2/3 just follow to the tanuki quest or just shut your overthinking mind and follow this video in the end you will see that your both quest tanuki and previous one ( 2/3) is completed
