Thanks again Chris! I was about to get started at MP 150 on the Roseville sub, and wanted to know whether I was required to do another brake test. Well, your excellent video not only refreshed my mind on how to do a brake test, but answered my question(s) as well. I was also wanting to know whether, IRL, someone was required to walk the entire train to check each brake cylinder. You answered that question early in your video.
I believe that one day, railroads will have technology to check each and every aspect of an entire train by running an app on a smartphone. No more walking the train. When the cost of manufacture and sale of such devices reaches the point where it's financially advantageous to install the systems.
I could go on for hours; I'll post to the Chit-Chat forum.

The Terminal brake test is very identical to what I do as a Brakeman for Minnesota Transportation Museum or MTM

Nice video. You should cover the other air tests like the 1A, and running brake tests for the simmers.
Out of curiousity, what do you do for NS?

I made the video. I'm a conductor out of Conway, PA.

I would like to see a video on bleeding air and opening anglecocks when coupling to a train.
