The MD Helicopters MD 500 series is an American family of light utility civilian and military helicopters. The MD 500 was developed from the Hughes 500, a civilian version of the US Army's OH-6A Cayuse/Loach. The series currently includes the MD 500E, MD 520N, and MD 530F. Military version is also called the MD 500 Defender. You can check out the MD Helicopter website by clicking on this link. www.mdhelicopters.com/md-530f... - Авто та транспорт
I had to come back and watch something that I love because it’s a MD-500 is the best helicopter I’ve ever flown in
I fly these everyday and that beautiful sounds never gets old.
Who doesnt love the sights and sounds of a MD 500 chopper? I just love the stance as she sits on the ground.
Good stuff Ed. Thanks.
Hello Frank, I'm sorry I just now came across your comment, you said it very nice about the MD 500 - Thank you for watching 👍😎
Halim Talafuka,Alhamdulillahirobbil Alamiin,Allahumma Amiin.@$#.
The MD 530F is a beautiful helicopter, I want it to remain operational for many decades to come, and never need to be replaced unnecessarily.
You said it very well, thank you for stopping by 😎👍
@@EdWhisenantAviation You are welcome
lol look at the little side mirror on the landing strut on the pilot's side. Never seen that before. Pretty smart.
Ya, it comes in handy, thank you for watching and glad you first saw it here LOL😂🤣
The CORVETTE ZR1 of helicopters !
So much fun to fly, and ride in !

I’m ready to Take controls overall in a MD-500 a give a tryout myself with the pilot to come to a hover over the trailer and land without any wind conditions
You would love it Bernard, thank you for watching 😎👍
Nice video, what an agile helicopter!

I think the 530 is the coolest thing.
I have to agree with you 👍😎Thank you for watching 👍😎

Great video I love the the shape and sound of this helio👍
Thank you so much Ian I love them also 👍😎
For those of you wondering why there's light visible underneath the skids before this helicopter takes off...many helicopters have "shoes" or replaceable pads on the skids. The shoes have a welded bead that runs down the center of the shoe, which makes contact with the ground. This allows for repeated contact with the ground during landing and especially during autorotations -> sliding, without actually impacting the skid. HTHs.
Great explanation Fred 😎👍
got a some AW139 models and i will be posting some in my twitter
Pretty cool I bet they look really nice 😎👍
At 3:58, I see N12YJ, N29LW, and the N5689N 🚁 which is a 1979 Enstrom F-28C !
Very close my Friend, it was N5689N, N12YJ, N925TV & N358TV as always thank you so much for your support 😎👍🚁OH! and you can here a little R22 N556SH in the video 👍

Hello Dom, Thank you 😎👍
@@EdWhisenantAviation Hi, you're welcome.
excellent !
Thank you very much for watching 👍😎
This ain't your dads Hughes 500D.
I wish it was 👍🚁
Very interesting, now this Reg number shows it registered to Beef Aviation. The same company that Cleetus McFarland's aircraft is registered to. Even his 369 he got from Venezuela will have 42FF as the reg. That is a weird coincidence lol. This 174FF does not show it registered to an MD anymore. It shows it as a BO 105. Which I think he owned as well.
Hello and great question. Since I uploaded this video the N Number changed again to N530TG Registered under the Name: HELICOPTERS UNLIMITED LLC
cool
Thank you Tobi 👍😎
My very first helicopter ride was in an MD530E a few years ago. (A fully equipped police version, no less!) This is easily my favorite helicopter, and I REALLY wish someone would make a quality addon for Microsoft Flight Simulator. I just recently got a Pro Flight Trainer PUMA X and I've been using it a lot with MSFS, so I'm dying to have a MD530 to fly with it!
I am really shocked that they don't have a MD530, do they have a Hughes 500? It's been awhile since I've flown in a MD530 or Hughes 500 and my favorite helicopters. Thank you very much for watching Darren 👍😎
its made now
@@cmm3338 Yes these are still being made now, thank you for watching 👍😎
@@EdWhisenantAviation no, I mean there is now a 500 in MSFS.
@@cmm3338 LOL now I understand, such a great helicopter, I'm really glad they have this on MSFS 👍😎
12 and 15 % roll it to introduce fuel and do you have 60 seconds to start the 500? N1 and turbine air temperature:: TOT : this is all I know from long ago flying with a guy in one like this and he had a notar model 500
Nice, I really love watching the NOTAR Helicopters👍😎
🏠
What’s up with the duel cargo hook Ed?
Hello Crazy Ralph, you would have to ask them, thank you for watching and maybe someone that works on the MD530 will let you know.
Same startup as the 206 longranger and 407
Thank you for watching 👍😎

Cool MD🚁 - footage again = 😊👍🏼
While watching this clip I asked myself what for a Hughes/MD 500 Model got the most horsepower of all Civil-Versions?!.
Obviously the MH-6 aka Little Bird has got a kind of a tuned Engine but like I said:
Of all civil 🚁, would be interesting to know and not to forget the NOTAR Series’s but I think the Explorer with twin-engines is #1 or?
I really would appreciate an answer.
with kindest regards,
your UA-cam-Chopper Buddy! 😉🚁‼️
Great comment and I would have to agree with you Explorer with twin-engines is #1👍😎
How come they landed and took off again?
They just got through with maintenance so they flew around the pattern and landed for me 👍 but an R22 was in the way so they had to land in a different place so I walked down and got them taking off again and they flew and switched out with N972BW & flew it back😎
@@EdWhisenantAviation oh.
