Thank you sooooo much for this video!
I did a tongue and groove for my horizontal fence(I will NOT be finishing the fence using this method for reasons I'm sure you already know), but was really stumped on putting in the door(s), so thank you for showing it in real time! I've installed 3(fence doors), and they work, but they look like crap. I've never seen this method done before! This looks so amazing. I can't thank you enough. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Looks great. Phenomenal job. I may have added a top cap on the door frame too if it was my build, but I love the look. Have you thought about putting a brace down the middle of the horizontal boards on the backside to keep them from bowing? I’ve seen people build their doors in place but never slowed down and detailed like this so thanks. 😊

Thanks for your kind words!!! That would look great as well putting cap on top! I was going to but was on a time schedule. Also I briefly mention at 15:05 about the vertical bracing on the back of horizontal pickets for support and keeping them all in plane on the front. Thanks again for watching and your input!😊 Next video I’ll be showing either how to make a horizontal cedar mechanical screen to hide ac units in the yard or a remodel of a dungeon laundry room how to make into a dream farmhouse laundry room

@@RubyRainWoodCo.-sd1cdohhhh darn it. I watched the whole video but somehow I must’ve missed that part about the brace. Thanks for responding. And good luck with the future projects. I can’t wait to get back to my building projects.
