We want to show that even Christians can do crazy things like demo derby and racing and still spread the messages of the bible. And that it’s also cool to be a Christian. This concept has taken off and we have been blessed with a lot of support. Much more to come!

I had a few sharks posing as mechanics convinced me to throw parts at my Yukon Denali. They overlooked bad spark plugs and went straight for fuel injectors, throttle body and sensor, MAF sensor and ignition coils. After all of that I was still getting misfire codes on cylinder 6, and I took it upon myself to swap the plug and wire on 6 and wala I’m running like a champ...
I appreciate you online mechanics, you guys are doing God’s work with these tutorials and walk throughs. Thanks
I like to blow each plug hole out with compressed air prior to removing the plug. This will get rid of any sand/dust that could find it's way into the cylinder
Great point!
Thank you for your time and effort making this video, You did a great job with the instruction . American Iron all the way!
Thanks bud, tutorial was very easy to follow along with.
Was just asking a buddy this morning about using any kind of lube on replacement spark plugs for my 6.0 GM boat motors...helpful tip on this subject, thank!
- Spark plug boot tool useful to prevent damage from pliers.
- Thread length looked different on new plugs?
- I would not trust pre-gapped plugs due to shipping, dropping & returns. Can gently check with gap tool.
Great video as well as good info from comment help !! Thanks!!
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful
Thank you. Cost me $9.76 Sparkplug+grease. I disconnected my battery not sure if that was necessary but it was recommended. Replaced the sparkplug for cylinder 7. Truck runs great again. Appreciate this video!
Glad you were able to get it fixed!
Best video by far!
Thank you for your help. God bless you sir
You're welcome!
Good info. Thx
Glad it was helpful!
2:30 dam a squirrel. That has to be a rare thing. He had to hungry haha
Thank you!
You're welcome! Good luck with your project
Passenger side is easier to get if you remove the front tire. Direct access to the 2 rear plugs
LSX_KINGPIN hey I see you have a tbss , I also have one and it’s the reason why I’m here . Do I have to disconnect my battery to change the plugs ? And what plugs do you recommend
Good suggestion!
@@pacsoulpavon9649 don't have to unplug the battery and depending on your engine setup you can go with different versions of NGK Plugs. Stock engine is NGK TR5-2238
Coach Emmett thank you appreciate the respond , my engine is a 6.0 ls2 stock so I will be doing that in the coming week
Gotta atleast check the gap!! Never put them in with out checking the gap!!! 👎👎
Just picked up a 2011 Silverado 3500 6.0 at auction with 170k. Truck runs good no codes, had it serviced ( oil& multipoint inspection) at local dealership no issues found also I changed air filter. All that being said and not knowing the history on the truck (one of the downsides to buying auction rigs) I'm thinking at a minimum plugs and wires, question would be with these miles do the coils as well or wait?
Hey, so the manual says to use ACDelco 41-962, but some people say to use ACDelco 41-110. I've been using the 41-110 and I've had to change the knock sensor three times already. The engine light is still on. What do you think I should do?
Why would my boot come off the spark plug . ?where the heat shield insets
How do you make the sparkplug fire 2003chvevy truck everything is wotk÷
what is the proper spark plug gap for the 6.0 vortecmax aka HO motor? ive heard both 60 and 45..
Following... manual says .60 but only find videos with .40
Is there any downside to still putting some dielectric grease on there just in case?
On my opinion it comes down to personal preference. Ask 10 people get 10 different answers
Any help for an idiot who decided to take all of the plugs and wires out at the same time and now has no idea how the new ones in the correct order. 00 gmc sierra 2500 6.0
Haha 5 months later, u ever got it?
@@Kelvin_-qs3uz turns out my truck doesn't have a specific order just plug and go
What is the torque for the plugs?
Been a while since I filmed this but manuals online state
"Spark Plug Torque 15 Nm (11 lb ft)"
Thanks!
