I bet that someone will upload an episode of Pat Chilatas vs. Barbara Johnson of Baltimore Maryland in the semi-final of $100,000 Name That Tune on UA-cam.
The one thing I don't like about the 10-10-20-40 point round scheme here is that if the contestants split the two 10-point rounds, as Pat and Art did here, then Bid-a-Note becomes completely irrelevant. Doesn't matter who wins it (and they aren't even playing for a prize for that round) - the winner is going to be determined by the Golden Medley round.
@WKPH Cincinnati Drop Melody Roulette or Tune Topics (probably Melody Roulette). Then, to make up for the extra time, raise the required winning score of the remaining 10-point round to 5 songs instead of 3, leave Bid-a-Note alone (or maybe raise the winning score there to 4), then make the Golden Medley worth 30 points. Or, instead of having the Golden Medley be worth 40 points, have each song answered correctly in the Golden Medley be worth 10 or 5 points. So if the score is 30-10 after Bid-a-note, the player behind has to get at least 2 more correct than their opponent in the Golden Medley.
I think what they should do in the tournaments is instead of awarding points for winning each round, have the scoring determined by tunes named. Have the score carry forward from one round to the next and play the maximum number of tunes in each round (5 or 7 for Melody Roulette, 5 for Tune Topics & Bid-a-Note)
This episode aired after the finals with
Stan and Les
That was the longest 1-note bid I've ever seen!
Sharing. This is my sister Pat
She certainly knew her music and seems like a nice and lovely woman was rooting for her
Oh how cool. She is good! I remember watching this with my mom! Thx for sharing! 😘
14:50 100,000 winner!
This was one where they did both balloon drops before rolling out the car and the confetti wasn’t falling continuously
WHAT WAS BLOCKED
14:57 balloon drop
Love Balloon Drops❤
Did anyone else notice that the $100,000 package never changed but the runner up trip did
I noticed it.

That was a tough semifinal match Pat Chialtas had with her. I also want it uploaded.
@@JIMOTOOLE1949 Go ahead and upload it!

@WKPH Cincinnati maybe like give the contestant a 1 tune head start for every 10 points he or she is ahead
Usually there's a prize for winning bid-a-note, but not in the finals. If they'd left the prize in, it'd at least be worth something.

Big Time Rush sings this song called "Big Night" @ 1:31! That's what Jim Lange just said!
17:14 Boy, was he right!
14:28 🤣🤣
It seems like Sandy Frank practically busts his budget with all the balloons, confetti and streamers he drops on the tournament champions.

14:56 Pat wins 100,000 and Art's punishment is to clean this mess up.
No, he won the trip to Hong Kong for being in 2nd place!
@@NMarsden I know I was kidding lol
@@OtakuLogan2017 That's not funny! That's rude!
Why did Jim call Pat ..Barbara ??
Uh-oh!!!!
All too often on the series, he didn't always call the contestants by their right names.
Wait did they get the effects shots in reversed? Usually the balloons falling into the camera lens is the second one.
PAT WHICH ONE IS YOUR HUSBAND WHAT COLOR SHIRT
