We're back with the Potter Project! This time we are taking on Malfoy Manor. We make a small start today on the front facade area of the build and we b*tch about Malfoy's yellow hair. ENJOY!

Oh the Malfoys - so much unused potential! Draco’s redemption arch - if you can call it that - was really poorly executed. He could have been a waaaay better character.
Anyway, I’m going to love this build and I’m so excited to see what you come up with!
Well you probably already know this but I just wanted to say that the first chapter of HP and the Deathly Hallows is full of stuff about the Malfoy Manor - gravel path to the house, yew hedge, fountains, peacocks in the yard, diamond shaped glass windows and all the other small details so it’s worth checking! 😏
And btw the start of this amazing building looks stunning, can’t wait to see where else you’ll take us on this journey! 😍😍

Hilarious! I totally wanted to tone Malfoy's hair too. Once I learned about hair, I couldn't stop going crazy about people's bad hair. It kinda takes over your entire life.

What a gorgeous start. I swear I've started and scrapped a Malfoy Manor build no less than 3 times, and here you are making it look so effortless. My eternal thanks for going stately and opulent with that hint of foreboding. I'm done with people acting like every nefarious family would have all black everything and skeletons everywhere (yes, I am throwing shade at the movies). The Malfoys would be throwing exclusive balls and hosting Ministry officials on the regular. There's a reason they keep their dark artifacts in the cellars
I'd love to see some servants hallways in the interior. I always imagined Malfoy Manor had secret corridors where house elves (and naughty children) could move from room to room without disturbing whatever business Lucius has going on in the entertaining rooms.

If someone hasn’t mentioned already, I believe what you’ve built is a massive Porte-cochère :) I think the wide ones that go through the entire buildings are for like moving horse drawn carriages etc. stunning btw just found ur channel today

I so appreciate this type of build. Watching you SLOWLY build is so much more fun and helpful to watch. The speed builds are not my favorites.
Hello Aden! I just wanted to say thank you for inspiring my current build with Malfoy Manor! I think this is my favorite build that you've ever done. It's absolutely stunning, and I fell in love with it from the moment you started working on the entrance. My build may or may not be highly influenced by this one. It's a Gothic French manor and I am absolutely pissing myself with delight. Of course using Felix's cc as well because it would not be complete without it! Anyway, I hope you're having a lovely weekend and I'm looking forward to the next video in this series.
Hi Aden! I was thinking that this location is Henford-on-Bagley is perfect for it! And the rural area and those cottage buildings you see around are perfect too, since I imagine such powerful family as Malfoys would use magic to kind of hide the manor from muggles and I imagine that when muggles look at this lot, they just see farming land, maybe one more barn, some cows, but definitely won't see the manor, so this is a very convenient location. And I imagine that hiding a building on a place where you can keep it as not much stuff is there (like just farming land) requires much less magical effort.
The out buildings off the lots could be where they make the house elves live since the malfoys don’t believe they have the right to be in the house unless doing their duties
Stop! You stop it right now! How dare you make my little Sims dreams come true?! I have so many photos of Trerice manor in my “Simspo” folder but I’ve been too intimidated to even attempt to build it. This makes me just pleased as punch 😊 Can’t wait to see how it turns out!
I LOVED the Burrow! But I'll just have to say once Cottage Living was announced I thought "that cheeky so and so knew we were getting chickens" when I remembered how much you complained about having to download CC chicken pens haha love your British themed builds!
I wish we had those windows in the actual game (console player here) oh my god they're beautiful!

This looks amazing! My headcanon for Malfoy Manor is Yarnton Manor in Oxfordshire.
Since we are heading into Autumn/Fall now, which i love, this makes me really Happy. I love gothic/victorian Buildings and the Malfoy Mannor will be dark and witchy and this is going to be the perfect pre-halloween vibes. Well i just wanted to say, love it. 😻

Looking gorgeous so far! I love those Felix windows in the dining room area! I see a big fireplace in front of that dining table, kind of like how it looks in that scene with Voldemort in Deathly Hallows part 1!

This house needs a secret basement the entrance could be hidden behind a photo or a tapestry in the house it can be where Lucius and the other deathly Hallows have meetings and stuff with green lighting to represent Slytherin there could be a big fancy throne like chair at the table where He who must not be named sits during the meetings.

About the CC, Felixandre did a lot of “roof pieces” that look exactly like the ones in your picture. Those are free to dowload at his tumblr if I remember correctly but, slap me on the face, I do not remember the name of those for the life of me.

This is definitely a lot where there would be a hedge maze 😆 I’m so glad you didn’t go with a doom and gloomy palette but kept it more realistic. The attic should have some older looking toddler beds to be the house elves’ quarters 😊

4:10 I feel bad doing this before I’ve even played in the house you built there, but UGH I wanna build a Renaissance faire on that lot! 🤩 Idk which video I commented this on, but I’ve been working at a fancy clothing shoppe at the Bristol ren faire (on the Illinois/Wisconsin border)- which is one of the biggest ren faires in this part of the country!!- and I am D Y I N G to build all the tiny cluttered little booths and shops in-game, so my Simself can sweat their t!ts off under three skirts and a velvet bodice instead of my actual self 😅

24:13 the way you said “gardens” was weird which (1) ha ha ha, you said something weirdly, let’s all point and laugh 🙄 but (2) and most importantly, like a month ago for my birthday (july 29th) we went to have cheap drinks at olive garden and then to the movies, to see The Green Knight. ANYWAY being Americans, we were saying Sir Gawain as “guh-WAYNE”, knowing full well it was wrong and cringing at ourselves but not knowing how to say it properly. In the movie they say it kinda like “Garwin” and kinda like “go win”, and as a nerd I wanted to say it properly. The closest I got is doing a really corny New Yawk accent and isolating the “goin’” from “how’s it goin’?” Sir Goin’. Sir Gawain. I promise it works 😂😭
