      @@DineshChandra Please clear 1 doubt, as per calculation, it comes 0.6mm diameter need to used for 1.41A current, but 0.6mm wire can handle maximum 1 Amps, how to cope with this?

    Accually I have been suffering a problem for few days to wind a 3 phase 3 hp 2 pole 36 slots water pump motor which has wind two times already by other person with swg 23 with 56 turns per slot in full pitch distributed in star connection but It is burned out in load again and again .I was given to solve that problem again from my boss.

    Sir why do you use Kw=0.954 always. Isn't it the product of pitch factor and distribution factor?

      Right, and kw always less than 1 because of winding are distributed in machine

      @@DineshChandra Here if we calculated pitch factor. Kp=sin(150/2)=0.9659. Then Distributed factor Kd=sin(2*30/2)/2*sin(30/2)=0.9659
      So product of this two factor comes=0.933... Am I wrong or right? If I wrong,would you please tell me the correct value of pitch factor and
      distributed factor?

      @@numerical9537 in this video I was considered approximate value for general calculation but theoretically you are right, procedure will be same as you say

    Sir in big motor like 10KW to 50 KW there are operates in Y or ∆ . If this motor run in star is takes less of current instead of delta.
    In this situation consume different amount of current , in this case the motor have same types of SWG in its winding??
    Please answer sir

      This situation is not permanent because in starting we need more torque to start the motor and after achive 75 percent Speed of motor we connect it in delta.
      SWG will calculated under Full load or running condition.

    why did you take (Bab=0.48)this value for determining magnetic flux density?where did you get this value?

      Flux density depends upon magnetic material so it can be veries between 0.4 T to 0.55 T as I say in my previous video , I assume a constant value between these 2.

    Thanks for prompt reply. The motor is sigle phase, 1.5Hp, core leght 6cm, core diameter 7cm, and 24 slots. Can you calculate for 4 poles, the numbers of turns and the thikness of the wire? FOR SIGLE PHASE MOTOR, and design the wirimg? Thank you very mutch. I m waiting...

    why didn't you take (p=root3 VI cos phi) in terms of (p=3VI cos phi)??

      Power in terms of Phase voltage and Phase current will be ( 3×Vph ×Iph × cos phi ) but if you take in terms of line power will be (√3 × VL ×IL × cos phi)
