I reckon mud since driving in mud is similar to driving in snow. Also look into getting winter tires as you'll benefit tremendously in terms of snow traction due to a softer rubber compound.
For tires alone (Bridgestone Blizzak DMV2s, prices vary by brand), you're looking at 274.35AUD per tire for 265/55 R19 aftermarket size. 168.72AUD for a new jack.
