I should say about the HUD difference between Miles and Peters. As something about them brings up a aging difference of the Spiders look.

I love the animation of the symbiote taking over Spidey. The way it covers him and looks messy, then cleans itself up into the most fire suit I've ever seen on him is CLEAN
I was thinking the exact same, that little "extraction" the suit does so it becomes more clean is so so cool
Yeah it’s such a new take on the usual right when the symbiote covers the suit it’s already the normal look but it starts off like a blob on the suit then it opens up like a egg
Man I hope anytime we switch to that suit it does that animation. It is super clean 🔥

This way of the Animation makes it also easier for the transition, if you have another skin for the Blacksuit.
I love how the symbiote was pulsating on the back of Peter’s neck and on his biceps. I love that attention to detail. Wraith is Yuri because it was teased in the silver lining dlc with all of those crime scenes.

I noticed the Symbiote moving too. Plants moving when you step on them and other details is great.
That’s cool that’s logically correct because the symbiote is alive
Even the eyes had were pulsating a bit Hopefully the suit evolves overtime into what we saw in the demo as we unlock the abilities tied to L1.

Alright, little correction here. The webshooters seem to now be permanently tied to R1 taps, rather than being their own separate gadget. The gadgets themselves are now tied to their own selection wheel, which you activate by holding down R1 then selecting the gadget from your personal 4 choices.
In my opinion this is much better since now you don’t need to constantly used the gadget wheel to select and slow yourself down in the heat of battle. The gadgets themselves are on a cool-down timer, meaning you can’t spam them during combat anymore. They’ve definitely balanced their systems out since the last game.
But like if you're wearing the symbiote suit doesn't that make the gadgets kinda useless due to the fact that the symbiote itself is strong enough to overpower any enemies ?

It indeed solves a major complaint of taking people out of the game to select different gadgets. Mods already made it possible to bind gadgets on keys to prevent the breaking of the immersion. Imo a good design choice!
Loved seeing the eyes become slightly more jagged. Really hoping the suit evolves similarly to Spectacular Spider-Man
I do think that is the case because in my opinion it doesn’t look all of that and I think they know this

I can't wait; I can just hear Yuri Lowenthal's acting being incredible. The design, gameplay, set pieces, and acting are all spectacular in this 10 minute scene. This is incredible.

I think that the L1/R1 UI means that the weapon wheel is gone, and there's no more constant pausing to bring up the wheel. That'd mean way more action and fluidity to the fights.
Yeah it's probably Hold L1 + the face buttons to do any of the 4 you have equipped. I bet there are more than 4 you can choose from the menu though.
@Jozombies115 Oh yeah, definitely a "choose 8 to fill the slots" type deal. Maybe some supers on top of those.
L1 wheel is probably the unique abilities for each Spider-Man and the R1 wheel is probably the gadgets
@@myredrumscold210 the r1 gadgets are gadgets you buy for both spidermen since they have a shared skill tree and a separate, L1 is for the separate skill trees
The symbiote looks so fire. One thing I noticed is that when slamming enemies on the ground or using the tendrils, symbiote residue is left behind on the point of impact. It'd be so awesome to have those residue pieces slowly making their way back to Peter to fill the suit back up again.
What everyone is ignoring is the possibility that they might also have their own take on the "Kraven's Last Hunt" story with symbiote, since the symbiote was a big part of that story too
I am agree with you my friend, one thing I was thinking this too. It would be very cool to see considering Insomniac talked about this being much darker than the first game. Be great to see how they balance this in the story if they do this
I'm pretty sure he was wearing a cloth version of the black suit for kraven's last hunt not the actual symbiote. Sorry to burst your bubble
imagine peter dying or just losing in a fight to kraven, like how batman got destroyed by bane in the 3rd nolan movie and the symbiote somehow attaches onto him and he comes out of the grave with the symbiote, i didnt read the comics but i remember a similar looking panel.
@@ZeroRaiden247 Exactly. In Kraven's Last Hunt, Kraven buries Peter alive, steals his suit, then Peter breaks put of the grave and then Kraven kills himself. Imagine it was the SYMBIOTE suit that Kraven steals, then it was the symbiote that causes him to kill himself. That would definitely fit the darker theme.
@@Wortwort-Spooderbat hence why it would be “their own take” on it not an exact copy and paste of the story. They can still take creative liberties to make it their own version of that story while maintaining the integrity of it.
I like the ending logo message “Be Greater, Together” it could mean an imply that Peter should be greater together with Miles. Or it could even mean That Peter and the Symbiote are greater together. I suppose it depends on how you look at it.
going from the animations the trailer had at the end with the tendrils wrapping around it and then the blue lightning miles now has it think this is a solid idea you got
The "Together" part is being consumed by the symbiote, leaving only "Be greater" (showing the self absorbed power hunger that the symbiote instills in Peter) before Miles electricity purifies the corruption. I think it's meant to symbolize that Miles will pull Peter back from going over the edge of darkness.

I think you forgot about the part that the reason the Lizard is that big is because he has shedded and grown bigger,and considering this looks like to be around the middle start of the game,we could potentially see him as his classic look and our first boss fight with him maybe. Then maybe right after this we get to be Peter and start actually fighting his new form. Of course this is speculation but I think it makes more sense.

Completely disagree with your take on Insomniac using the same animations. Just because it's a sequel doesn't mean it should have the EXACT same animations for swinging, And I know FOR SURE that all the people saying "who cares" or "it's just a sequel" would be the same people saying "OMG LOOK AT THE COOL NEW ANIMATIONS" if Insomniac had changed them.
I, for one, also am not bothered by the repeat animations, but the excuse Caboose used "its just a sequel" is nonsensical. If the combat was the same as the first game, would that have been his response?
We've seen this before with Spider-Man 2018. When the real fans stood up and demanded the raimi suit everyone else said they didn't want it. When Insomniac added it they all used it and said it was awesome 😂😂😂
There was a new diving animation I caught for Peter after he says I warned you and all the greens smoke comes up when Peter is swinging

I still don't think you're understanding. There are new animations, plenty of them in fact. The reusing of animations from previous games makes sense for the story of the game. The way it looks when you glide and divebomb is the exact same in all 4 Arkham Games. The way the combat works is also extremely similar, it's just that they continue to expand upon and slowly build on an already working formula.
One thing I do want is that when Peter loses the symbiote, you can get a non-evil symbiote (Kinda like the 2017 Spider-Man TV series. You know, the crappy one)
I hop the Lizard starts off in the lab coat since we see that he's shedding. Imagine he gets the symbiote as well.
Imagine how visually stunning a Mysterio boss fight would be! Here's hoping he appears in a side mission or DLC.
Or maybe as a big villain for Spider-Man 3 😮
They made Taskmaster being a clown in the first game.
He is a big deal... especially, he could adapt to every Avengers move and fighting styles. I just wish that Taskmaster is also a big threat to Spider-Man since he is that powerful, maybe put him as a DLC main boss ?
And Mysterio is one of my favourite villain in Spider-Man comics, you could say he is smart enough to mess around with Spider-Man.
Hopefully they made a Mysterio as a main Boss, i don't want Mysterio being a side quest bosses.
I love how you just show flashbacks towards the Venom movie when Eddie and She-Venom were “Bonding” (Romantically by the looks of it).

Lizard might start off with the lab coat, but as he keeps shedding and gets bigger, he ends up losing it.
For tombstone Peter says that the chemical formula will only work for a short period of time before it wears off.
You can hear Peter slowly going down into that "Symbiote Suit" mode. Even in the trailer you could hear Miles sounding a bit.....worried about Peter. This is going to be EPIC upon release. Great cover Caboose!. Wonder what DLC Insomniac has cooked up or will cook up. Excited to see the different suits too.
I'm definitely excited for the DLC and what they have in store for us fans. I love Yuri Lowenthal's voice as black suited Spider-Man plus Miles does sound a bit worried because this isn't how Peter behaves usually so it's a serious concern for Miles. I'm so stoked for this game.

The detail and experience will be amazing and with the addition of the web wings and all the other stuff that was shown, it will be incredible to witness and experience. The symbiote suit just looks so menacing and I don't know if you know this but it's been about 13 years since the symbiote was featured in a game with it's abilities and not just a skin with no abilities added. I think the last game that featured the symbiote suit in all it's glory was Spider-Man: Edge of Time but Insomniac is cooking something special for us Spidey fans. Insomniac we trust.

I seen on the tablet in the trailer Black Cat was on the map when Kraven was looking at it. Either way, I see some weekends being just Spider Man 2 and my voice over work.

Regarding the response Peter gave when he said “He got away from us” the first thing that came to my mind was what Venom said in the first trailer in plural “Yes, we will” referring to himself and the symbiote. Nice catch!
When Peter charges in to destroy the aircraft and is hit with it's "defences" it's also worth pointing out that the rockets about to hit Peter before he uses the symbiote to protect himself or vice versa, Peter's Spidey sense did not trigger to warn him of the rockets coming
I do believe the move he's using even in the beginning is not him using it it's the suit itself people complained that Peter is using it even though he probably doesn't even know how to but I don't think it's Peter I believe the Symbiote its own attack moves as Peter is too angry to pay attention

On the armored part of the suit it looks black but on the fabric it looks organic and moving. Almost like it’s having harder time mixing with the fabric. Love it
I took it as the solid parts are more amour like and goo parts are where he needs to move his body more

And remember the Spider-Man 3 movie game had Connors undergo 2 Lizard forms so maybe we’ll get a lab coat plus the shedded skin means he was already the Lizard at that point for however long.
I don’t know about yall but that caught me a little off guard with the symbiote. Did not think they were going to show it early, and for some odd reason it makes sense seeing it and getting people thinking and having questions to hype them up
The only two easter eggs that I missed that Caboose pointed out for me was the part where Kraven and his assistant were going through a list of what to hunt in NYC and Wraith & Shocker’s names came up. Plus the part where Peter just dropped a civilian on the ground after saving him

One thing that gets me excited about Peter’s dialogue at the end of the gameplay is you know there will come a point where he’ll eventually stop referring to himself as “I” and start saying “we”as the game progresses.

During the swinging segment with miles under the bridge, the Peter is talking through the radio but when miles gets closer to Peter you hear it as if he was talking next to you.
I really hope it automatically cycles through night and day in this game, that to me makes the game so immersive.. either way, can't fkn wait ❤
i think the symbiote will adapt to be a full suit with the smooth parts and the more textured parts will be the starting out point noticing how peters suit looks and modifying it along the way you know , like a reference for the final smooth suit

Imagine they give us a choice for the boss fight.
Choose Peter: You control him and beat the crap out of Miles, after he sees what he's done he realizes that he's gone too far and goes to dispose of the symbiote.
Choose Miles: You'll fight Peter and barely manage to get him back to his senses with the help of your powers and help him get rid of the symbiote.
Both are alternate paths that would eventually lead into the same end goal. I think it would be nice for them to do that.
TBF i don't think we take tombstone's power away from him just his invulnerability. So only difference is that he can get hurt now.

Tombstone did lose his power, but they said it was only temporary.
So at the teaser trailer peter has the 4 robotic legs right. So maybe that takes place after he loses the suit and tries to replicate the tendrils that the symbiote had.
I think we may be get the classic lizard look, or at least more classic than what is shown, in the trailer we see he is shedding so maybe he isn't just getting bigger but more animal like and turns into the look we see

yes caboose you missed a tiny detail that makes spider-man's symbiote suit so much more cooler. its where he was fighting the robot dog when he was in the ground you can see his eye lenses close as he is struggling to hold it back it is a small detail but its so cool . @caboose
Am I the only who’s noticed the black suit webs aren’t coming out from the front of peters hands but instead from the wrists like normal. I figured it come out from the front like it’s supposed to.
My theory for why Mile's venom powers are blue now is due to him absorbing a whole Nuform reactor in the previous game. (Plus it's the same color lol)

I have a theory as to why Peter sounds and act angry and why the symbiosis is taking over seemingly at the beginning. It could be that Peter is going through hard times more so than before at the beginning of the game and is now in a state of depression and despair and these two things could be used to easily manipulate his mind with the symbiosis
Well yeah in fact he's desperately trying to save Harry in the gameplay trailer. He doesn't want to to lose someone close to him again and the symbiote only amplifies that to the point where he even disregards Miles
It’s just that peter as been wearing the suit for a long time. This can’t be is first time wearing it, he mastered the symbiote by this point. And Miles isn’t surprised to see peter with the black suit

The reason was bc
Spider-Man found the capsule with the symbiote inside, and thinking this was the device they were talking about, released the symbiote. The alien wrapped itself around Peter Parker's body and gave him a black suit. Parker brought the symbiote back to Earth after Secret Wars, but the symbiote started to affect him.

I know it's unlikely but it'd be cool if this version of Spidey gets to keep the symbiote. It'd be a good way to keep Pete and Miles on a similar level of each other powers-wise and have distinct playstyles while having gadgets shared between the two. Could also make this Peter more unique compared to the other popular Spider-men in media.

I think there was sine leak earlier, that said when Peter loses the symbiote he would build a mechanical 4 arms that would kind of replace it

One of the Easter eggs is that Spider-Man (Peter) is more aggressive with his saves and attacks for example he saves one person but he throws him on the ground and his more aggressive with the attacks and you expect that someone to die by the hands of Spider-Man (Peter)

Im fairly certain that the gameplay reveal mission we see is the first time peter gets the Symbiote. Remember, Miles seems completely shocked and unfamiliar with the black suit when peter shows up with it. Could be wrong, but with the evidence thats the best explanation I can think of.
I think Peter is gonna be pissed off quickly due to all the stuff going on. Harry dying, Curt becoming Lizard again, and whatever else is going on.
