It's not just a bullshit generalization of female comedians, it's somewhat true; you just don't see them as often as you would male comedians. The mentioning of the fact that she is a female doesn't take away from her accomplishments or her extreme talent. Sure, she's funny here, and John Pinette is funny on screen too, but seeing both of them live at (Governor's Jess), was a totally different experience, and yes, you can laugh until it hurts.
