kfc has massively gone down hill when they sold out to franchize the kfc of the 80s/90s was 11/10 now its around 2/10
Went there today. The chicken pieces were much smaller than I remember. The gravy didn't taste the same.
Of course the burger is dry you told them to take everything off it 😂 it’s a piece of chicken on a burger bun what do you expect 🤷🏻♂️
If he says that nobody cares about Covid, its clear that hes one of those guys that thinks its blown out of proportion and isnt as bad as it seems. If he thinks that, do you really think he has the mental capacity to realise that the burger will be dry because nothing is in it?

@@benupton98 Yeah. The message I got was that he was saying "let's get on with the food, rather then discuss the Covid procedures" he wasn't saying Covid was not real, or not a problem.
This is the problem with franchising.
They rely heavily on the brand and couldn’t care less about quality.

KFC now all depends which one you go to. Definitely most of their restaurants gone down hill.
They are a franchise so each restaurant will have different standards depending on its owner.

hard to find a kfc that has the crispy batter and soft white chicken.. batter normally slides off or the meat is solid. i have 3 in my area and only 1 does it right

i recommend the zinger stacker with supercharger sauce, and definetly chips with gravy

Apparently the Colonel didn't like KFC and started another resturant just before his death, there is a quote going round saying this In 1970, the New Yorker quoted him saying the company's new gravy recipe “ain’t fit for my dogs.” While the chain turned business around and reportedly improved food quality in the '80s under new leadership, Sanders' wasn't around to see it. He died on Dec. 16, 1980, at the age of 90.
The problem with all the big restaurant chains is that nobody give a s**t. The staff are paid minimum wage and treated like disposable assets, so why should they care? I have a friend who manages a local McDonald's he openly say's that he couldn't care less if costumers enjoy the food or not. To him it's a temporary job until something better comes along.

Was the cheese in the zinger ? They can be dry if you dont ask for extra's ..but once you start asking for extra's at kfc it will cost ya ..also some stores lack ambition. A good kfc store is just great..
I find it so inconsistent even from the same stores. I keep going back though 😂
I've had zingers without lettuce many times. They're not always dry. I actually don't mind my KFC a little dry anyway. Don't like it dripping in oil.
In some ways I feel good I haven't eaten KFC and other fast foods in three months. But... at the same time I'm craving....
True tho these chains been dropping their quality while jacking prices.

Used to love kfc until I had a bad one from the Kettering odeon outlet and ended up with food poisoning. Left it a couple of years and gave it a 2nd chance this time in corby. Same again. Such a shame they don't take pride in what they do anymore
KFC are rlly a hit or miss imo depends on which area you're in.
honest review big chains are letting ther food slip with high prices takin the public for a mug but dont look the same without the beard lol
Mate try Chris’s Fish and Chips in Brentwood Essex, unreal fish, ribs and chicken burgers. Best fish I ever had
Mate, I had some from Ipswich anglia park ipswich, attendant was RUDE, and I ordered 2 pieces of chicken and i could not eat them for bones

I’m 67 and had my first KFC last week , now I know why didn’t bother before , at least it’s another thing off my bucket list !
@@FoodReviewClubUK just trying to concentrate on small local independent outlets in Aberdeen who have been hit hard by these sad times . You guys do an amazing job and will help many businesses survive against the odds , though many of yours seem to be doing really well by supplying quality food at good prices .
kfc changed from when i was growin up, it tasted alot better in the 80s and 90s guv
Can be hit and miss kfc trick to it is only go when its busy so then they have to keep cooking more chicken and it dosent go dry its probably been left there for ages pal
great and honest review that....i had the very same experience....dry chicken...greasy to the touch ....scarce and expensive...... think the problem is that its a race to the bottom to see who can do it cheaper....4 would be my figure as i do prefer the new frys

Living in Canada 🇨🇦 loved KFC growing up but it has really gone down hill, chicken pieces are so small and overcooked. I prefer Popeyes spicy chicken or Mary Browns and Chick N Joy and all 3 blow KFC out of the water. Love the videos man !
Great review, like you said you can only judge what you eat at the time. Its a shame for KFC because the one near me in Derby is not like that. The pieces of chicken are fresh and juicy.
Went to a KFC today August 9th 2021to a local restaurant re a takeaway. I ordered a 4 piece meal (attempted to eat one piece threw the rest away) , a hot wings snack box with fries etc. In the past I have bought KFC regularly and for the most part enjoyed the meals etc. HOWEVER this was dry, almost burnt, the worst I have had in years. £10 wasted. FACT. 😶

I live in Queensferry North Wales and our local KFC only gets really good when a new team takes over.. But a month later its garbage.

nah the chicken has gone really downhill and fries are different. they're vile, and the coating is soggy. Bread on the burgers hard and hardly and sauce on it.
Best chicken shop is Simpson’s chicken in chertsey hands down I drive past 2 KFC’s to get there
Last time I had KFC, I had a couple of bites of it then threw it away, it was shockingly bad.

KFC is really hit and miss, but the majority of the time I go there - it's a disappointment! Had one this week and it was dry and sub par at best, they really seem to have lost touch with the quality and care about their product that they produce.
Burger king chips were class 🤷♂️
That’s not the zinger, should have red sauce. Also I love tower zinger from KFC but you need to get it the way it’s make with the lettuce.

KFC in Boston is absolutely shocking, There's no flavour and really dry chicken.
I think it depends on where u go because my kfc down here is good 👍🙂

The only on the bone chicken I get from kfc is the wings. The standard chicken is too hit and miss. More miss than hit.

I've been made aware that kfc will make the chicken in 3 hour time slots so that piece of chicken was probably over 1.5 hours old
Huntingdon repping! Yeah our KFC's pretty crap these days, especially the breasts of chicken on the bone, tend to stick with the boneless banquet. Love the gravy though

Must admit, that looked shocking, my local one is very good. KFC are franchises, looks like this owner has dropped standards. You could actually see your genuine disappointment. Review was on point.

I had Burger King chips the other day and they were 100% hands down better than kfc chips

KFC is a bit of joke. Sometimes is really good and I love it. However sometimes it’s just cold and dry and small portions.
I used to love kfc but nowadays it’s horrendous there are a lot better independent outlets that do a lot lot better chicken
You have to go at the ‘right’ time when the chicken has just been cooked and not left under the warmer for hours. Lunchtimes and between 5-7 are generally good imo.
