Probably too much trouble keeping them both updated. The one thing I read about Age of Sigmar above all others is how easier and more simplified it is. It would've been a lot more profitable for GW to kill the overcomplicated old Fantasy setting and then replace it with something brand new. They would be able to cut on their work since the new setting was easier to write on and update, while at the same time forcing the players to buy their entire new range of products.
@@GrimDarkNarrator maybe in the short term, but its caused a great deal of disgust in the general warhammer community. It just feels like a lazy answer to for them to take to me even when i really do understand that gw is a business and needs to be profitable.
You can't accuse GW of being deliberately careful when introducing major changes to a setting. Look at how they fist-pushed the Primaris marines and the return of Guilliman :D

I read too many of them to have just one. Depends on the series. I like the first few from the Gotrek and Felix series, The Sword of Justice & Sword of Vengeance duo, among others.
I've been thinking a lot about doing that as well. I have both games and all the DLC. I might announce it relatively soon if I have the time to record a session.
Warhammer fantasy lost so much richness when the Old World died and AOS came about. It’s really a shame.
At least we still have the stories already written.

I really dont see why they killed this setting off. They could do so much with it still and use aos as an alternate timeline to reach both audiences.
