Düstere Kunde war es meist, von Kriegen und Mord, von Missetaten und Leid, vom langsamen Welken der Welt bis hin zum Vergehen der Götter, die ihm die beiden Raben mit den sprechenden Namen zu berichten hatten. Und doch verbirgt sich im nahenden Niedergang auch immer der Beginn neuer Blüte…
