As Scenic Eclipse II sailed overnight for the Inner Hebrides, David was enticed by the very opulent Whisky Bar in the Scenic Bar and Lounge. With an impressive display of over 130 of the world's finest whiskies to choose from, it's a very popular space for guests to sample, savour and relax.
The Inner Hebrides is full of gorgeous lochs, medieval castles and romantic little fishing villages like Portree on the Isle of Skye. As part of a curated Scenic Freechoice excursion, David visited the fairytale castle of Dunvegan. The MacLeod clan have lived there for over 800 years, their longevity thought to be owed to a magical flag given to the chief by his fairy wife! Whether you believe in fairies or not, the isle is an enchanting place to visit.
