Poles definitely won't get fired this offseason (and I don't necessarily think he should be) but there are undeniably huge problems with the roster he has built. The offensive line and defensive lines are bad. His FAs and trades have been lackluster (Edmunds, Swift, Keenan, Montez) to downright bad (Davis, Claypool, Everett, Bates) He definitely did well with Edwards and Billings, and guys like Shelton and Pryor have been good value backups (not starters) but thats about it outside of the draft. His drafting has been good, but not great. He has MAYBE 8 solid starters in three years, none of which are truly stand-out players yet. Its totally possible they could all be great next year, but its more likely that they'll be a mixed bag. All around, its tough to say. He probably deserves another coach, but it'll be a disaster if he hires another Eberflus. Even with a good coach, its still unclear if Poles had the ability to build a championship caliber roster.
I do think we'll win at least one game the rest of the way and i only believe that since 3 out of the 4 of our oppents are divison rivials and i think the bears despite the fact we've pretty much given up will always put up a fight against other nfc north teams outside of the packers blowout from a few years ago
