Also, I loved seeing these old Johnnys. I've been getting a few old Johnnies here and there. Need to get more old and new Johnnys, because I've come to truly love and enjoy this brand.
I noticed the can of beer on the table at the end and see in the comments it has been described as Molson Canadian - that answers my question on your previous video - nice! What a swell day to be out by the pool cracking open die-cast. I liked your comment during the video about if you put that camouflage car in the garden you wouldn't be able to find it again LOL! Thanks for the great video =)
Cracking various great vintage castings from JL, near the pool and watching this with a cup of coffee. Think anything better? The '55 Chrysler 300, the '74 Dodge Monaco Fire Chief Car, the 1950 Chevy Suburban, the Karmann Ghias are some the castings i'd love to find or see them re-released by Johnny Lightning. Great collection, than you for showing all these cars!
JohnSTF72 I would love their Porsche, Jaguar E-Type Roadster, and all of their Aston Martins to be re-released. I have the JL V12 Vanquish, and it's so awesome!
You are by far the die cast king! I have a good bit but no where near your level. Alot of us look up to your collection! Im loving the die cast museum! Pretty nice bud!!!
$7 for a new 1/64 a bit of a shock, but the quality is their, they were before their time, in the last 5 years the super detailed model market has taken of, though usually the 1/32 to 1/24 or around those sizes and im not sure if their ahead or influencing time but the work in progress type of cars has also taken off,of late
True 1:64 has become quite big lately especially in Asia. quite a lot of them (Tomica Limited Vintage especially) make Greenlight look lackluster when you put them together.
Honestly I never know anything about Johnny lightning cars cause I grew up on matchbox and hot wheels. After watching this video I’ve been collecting Johnny lightning like crazy. Love it thanks buddy. I never knew about these old school cars being made like the Monte Carlo ss caught my eyes.
Excellent JL opening video. I have a couple large bins of JL's put away. No room to display them all at this time. This pool side video reminds me of your Tonka Ice Out Contest. Was there a video of the completion this Year ? I couldn't find it. I must of missed it.
I love any each of your videos, but this, this is the most awesome video i have watched and enjoyed on your channel. It really gave me goosebumps. Awesome collection . ❤ PS: maybe I enjoyed more because I love to unbox stuff from eBay! LOL.
I have to tell you, your voice is very soothing, I really believe that you are going too go far in UA-cam......Also your probably sick of hearing this, but I'm going to say it anyway...........Your collection is AMAZING !!!!! GREAT JOB on your show.....
yeah he is the only hot wheel guy ill watch haha..he really is awesomely specific on the cars and what they are valued. he's been turning me into a collector pro which is very helpful when i go to flea markets
I have some 20 year old loose Johnny lightnings that are not doing me any good sitting in the closet I really believe they should be in your collection how can I get them to you.
Nimesh Chokshi I doubt money would be the issue. He doesn't seem to mind paying for valuable detailed diecast. I definitely think he'd enjoy them though
HeavyMetal One64 Don't get me wrong. I would love to see some Kyoshos, TLVs and even regular Tomica and Tomica Premium on his channel. There's just so much stuff out there that sometimes, you have to really pick and choose carefully.
I sometimes wonder why I didn't buy more new JL back in the day, but seeing the prices you paid reminds me why. $4-$6 then really added up so I had to be careful. It seems I can find these at toy shows for much less now. I am trying to catch up now. ;)
Wish i started collecting years ago those jl in the review are bad ass my goodness look at the prices lol such detail i do look for them on the hunt my area is not very good upstate ny albany ....surprising very limited ....
NO!! PLEASE DON'T OPEN THEM UP!! It kills me to see you taking all those great collectible cars out of their original package. Especially outside next to the pool!!! Please do your reviews without taking them out of their package.
I'm sorry you don't like seeing my cars opened, but this is a review channel and I am a loose car collector, always have been. If I keep all my cars in the packages, I would have no where to display them and they would all live in a box unseen until I die. Rest assured most of these cars produced are suffering that fate, so when their owners die or pass the cars on, you can keep them however you like :)
I understand. Its just my own preference. But like you said, you don't plan to sell them and its necessary for the review so its good. I still love your videos, they are very fun to watch. Your car museum is AWESOME!!! My dream is to have a basement with all my collectibles in display unfortunately I don't have a basement.
Love your videos. Amazing collection of cars as always. Thanks for sharing them. I liked the poolside touch to this one too.
Those Monte Carlos are my favorite. I used to own a 1985 SS
Thank you for sharing this awesome cars with us.Thumbs up
Also, I loved seeing these old Johnnys. I've been getting a few old Johnnies here and there. Need to get more old and new Johnnys, because I've come to truly love and enjoy this brand.
WoW awesome collection bud those are some Killer Johnny's especially that spectra flame Nova SS Gorgeous ‼️
Good stuff I like when you show the back for the other cars in the series.
Ripping a cardboard open is just so satisfying!
Simply awesome collection
Very awesome and well informed video . I look forward to seeing more of your videos throughout the future .
Nice collection sir the classics are neat !!!!

What a load of awesome cars. I need to get my hands of some variations of that 86 bird
You are by far the die cast king! I have a good bit but no where near your level. Alot of us look up to your collection! Im loving the die cast museum! Pretty nice bud!!!

This was great... love the Johnnys!
Beautiful collection! Really fun video, except for all the jealousy I'm feeling. :)

The thing with TLV at least is that their regular models (not their trucks or diorama sets) cost around NZD$30 on average.
Very stellar collection of Johnny Lightning diecast vehicles Wtffor !
That 62 Chevrolet Bel Air looks pretty awesome !
totally amazing, love J/L's.

I'm in Niagara and yeah September 2017 seemed hotter than July.
Nice pool and yard btw.
i love the Johnny Lightning cars, please bring more to Germany!

Lets make Canada Great Again with Molson Canadian! Seeing that can of beer was the best part of this vid......as much as I like JL's.
great vid
Your zingers are badass especially the Shelby
The 70 Dodge Dart in black kicks butt !
I have to tell you, your voice is very soothing, I really believe that you are going too go far in UA-cam......Also your probably sick of hearing this, but I'm going to say it anyway...........Your collection is AMAZING !!!!! GREAT JOB on your show.....
Thank you! I never tire from the support of my viewers, your comment is greatly appreciated!!
yeah he is the only hot wheel guy ill watch haha..he really is awesomely specific on the cars and what they are valued. he's been turning me into a collector pro which is very helpful when i go to flea markets
The silver 65 Volkswagen Karman Ghia with racing tempos rocks !
45 minutes of fun. Now my ass hurts.
I have some 20 year old loose Johnny lightnings that are not doing me any good sitting in the closet I really believe they should be in your collection how can I get them to you.
Thanks for showing the collection. I loved the '70 Plymouth GTX "NARLEY SKULL". After watching the video I found one on eBay, it's now in my hands.
beautiful..
I also have the Johnny Lightning 13 Customs 73 Chevrolet Caprice Station Wagon and the Wicked Wagons 65 Chevrolet Chevelle Station Wagon !
Excellent video - those Monte's are the best. Johnny Lightning is all real die cast - they don't use plastic like you see on some Hot Wheels do they?
Thank you! All new releases of Johnny's are 100% diecast these days, but in years past some models did have plastic bases.
The 69 Plymouth Barracuda is very awesome !
I wish you could get some newer releases of JL. I really think you'd enjoy them, especially the Gone Fishing sets with the wagons.
Awesome video O-Dawg! You think you'll ever venture to Tomica Limited Vintage or Kyosho?
HeavyMetal One64 It's probably too much money atm, but, he'd definitely enjoy them.
Nimesh Chokshi I doubt money would be the issue. He doesn't seem to mind paying for valuable detailed diecast. I definitely think he'd enjoy them though

HeavyMetal One64 Love your channel, btw. I like the variety you show in almost every video you upload.
Thank you!

That karmen giah is awesom but of coarse they all are
Did you notice that the Hummer was a White Lightning? Said it on the tires. (Tyres to you).
capswin must have been worth a fortune. 😞
The only Johnny Lightning car I have is a '65 Ford Mustang Convertible in a light blue. I found it in one of my parents friends house.
I'm enjoying my diecast collectable vehicles and also have no plans to sell them. Sometimes some are given away as a gift.
you never finished.. what was at Walmart for $1.50,??the Johnny Ls ????
Yes, it was the JL's.... sorry for the omission
I'm in Rochester and we got 92 degrees Fahrenheit and in school it was a hot!!
Are you near Windsor?
How much does it effect resale to open the cars??

Speaking of Chevrolet Suburbans. I would like to get my hands on a diecast 69 Chevrolet Suburban !
Wish i started collecting years ago those jl in the review are bad ass my goodness look at the prices lol such detail i do look for them on the hunt my area is not very good upstate ny albany ....surprising very limited ....

theyre not nearly as detailed as Kyosho or Tomica limited vintage. And though the detail is ok, the quality is poor.
I suport your channal
