He may be a Levite who knows all about the red heifers but, what he doesn't know is how unnecessary it is to continue with old traditions. The ancient Israelites didn't have a temple while they were in the desert. At this point in time, they have always known that they don't need a temple to sacrifice a red heifer. It's everyone else who thinks that they do. So, if they needed to sacrifice a red heifer, they could do it at any time without anyone knowing about it.
This is Biblical like most other things that have been happening that so many people are blind to. Has to happen. In the old testament, animals had to be sacrificed for forgivness of sins, purification, blessings, etc. I think many people don't understand that Jesus was the end to this when God sent him to earth to sacrifice himself for our sins. Once Jesus died, sacrifice was no longer the way to be forgiven since he shed his blood for ALL of our sins. People are now forgiven of their past, present, and future sins when they believe in Jesus' blood sacrifice on the cross and his resurrection 3 days later. If they believe in Jesus' blood, they will receive eternal salvation and get to go to heaven, forgiveness of sins, and will receive the Holy Spirit (baptized by fire, which is why water baptism is no longer necessary and is old testament requirement, as well). Sorry to break it to people, of you reject the Gospel (Jesus death, burial, resurrection for our sins) you will send yourself to hell. God doesn't do that, people do it to themselves by not believing the truth. God/Jesus has nothing to do with religion. Religion was created by man. People are about to find out when they get left behind after the rapture for being unbelievers. Going to be hell on earth.
