I used these instructions to make my gold sequin, long maxi skirt that I wore for New Years Eve! It was so easy to follow!! My skirt, zipper and waistband came out amazing!! Thanks for clear directions, I subbed and have now watched several of your videos!!! Keep up the great work, you're very inspiring!!!
I can sew in zips and your tutorials are great. Could you please do another zip instalment tutorial but with contrasting zip and cotton colour so it makes it really easy to see how its done and how it should look? I am helping my friend learn to sew and I know it would be clearer to see with contrasting colours. Thank you.
Hi Joanna! I've done two videos on this zipper installation and likely won't do another. However, I will keep your feedback in mind on using contrasting thread for future tutorials. Feel free to ask questions on what isn't clear to you and I'll help you out!
Thanks so much for this! I just have one question please. When placing the zipper, do I place the teeth directly on top of the centre back line/stitch or make sure it falls just over the line/stitch? Thanksss
Hi I'm new to learning different things when it comes to making clothing. Do you have a video doing these same lessons on a solid color fabric where I can see better? If not can you do one please maybe on a red or light color?
Some of my more recent tutorials have contrasting fabrics and threads for easier viewing. But, I have no plans to redo this one. If you have a question, just ask and I'll help!
Where were you when I was in home ec? Hmmm, probably not alive yet. This is wonderful, thank you so much for posting this video! I've been sewing for 40 years and have been avoiding zippers for years.

I noticed others requested the same thing, apologies, I should have read through all comments first lol.
No worries! This helps me to know how to create better content for you!

I aim for the center back line so that the fabric won't catch in the zipper when it closes, if that makes sense.
Luv thisss, thnx for sharing
