Hey, great film and good ride! Could you please tell me what the refreshment stations look like on the race course? It's hard to imagine that I could carry enough food and drink for several hours of riding, and I won't have any support on the course or anyone to hand me "my" bottles. Does the organizer provide any assistance in this regard?
Thank you! There's 3 or 4 refreshment stations on the long track (which is more than sufficient I would say), you can get water, water with iso/energy, power bars, power gels, cookies, some even have kind of sandwiches. So you wouldn't need to bring alonga lot. Nutrition Partner is "namedsport" - so if you can get some products upfront, you can test if that stuff works for you - testing during race is not the best idea maybe. On the HERO homepage you can even find a nutrition suggestion incl a scheme on where you should eat what and where to get it. Hope that helps...
HERO 2023? ;-)
Thank you! :-) In my experience it's cruciual to keep calm at the first ascent (Dantercepies) and not let you trigger from the faster guys, most of them you'll see again if you keep calm. If you fall into a rush, you won't manage to finish. The hardest part is uphill to passo Pordoi, very very steep, 99% of the riders have to walk and push their bike up the hill (for hours!). But it's worth it! 🙂

looks like you're the only one who can ride downhill
At least we are a bit faster than some others, but tricky if riders are walking in front of you, dangerous for both of course
Fantastico!!!
Respekt 👍🏻
Danke!
Bravissimi, complimenti ;-)
Mille grazie!!:-)
Hi, were you using hardtail or full sus? Great skills!
In 2021 I did it with hardtail, 2022 with full sus (120/120)
Fantastico in discesa, ma in salita?
Ciao, complimenti! Con che supporto hai attaccato la goPro? Perché il video sembra molto ben stabilizzato...
Grazie! 🙂
Simply mounted the HERO 8 black directly at the handlebar. The "hyper smooth mode" did the rest! This mode works just great! 😀
Complimenti!!!Bel manico :-)
Grazie! :-D Have you also been there?

HERO 2023? ;-)
