well the second chance perks were already nerfed quite hard. The problem with Thrill is that it's not really op but very frustrating. Against Doctor, you just CAN'T cleanse the tomem because he will interrupt it. The best solution would be keeping Thrill (or even buffing it) but making totems not lose all progress when interrupted but overtime for example like gen regression
I don’t see why people think it’s wrong. Your hook accumulation doesn’t change. And can easily penalize the team if they rely on trading hook stages. It helps discourage tunnelling, and help change the focus of your target. Unless you’re trying to focus down one annoying survivor. You can keep going or fixate on weaker teammates for more hook spreading.
this meta is also extremely lazy because all you do is just patrol totems or hit your power/perk to interrupt, compared to painres or dms, less effort for more reward, makes no sense
I played scratched mirror myers with thrill, face the darkness, undying, and devour hope. They got my undying before i got my first injure, but after that they didnt get a single totem done.
hmmm how do I deal with thrill... maybe same way as penti? By ignoring totems? Nah too hard. If someone drags on devour hope card - keep in mind getting to 5 stacks with no gen defense is up to survivors still
Seriously. THe only gen defense available to totem gamers is ruin.. which isn't really much. The only threat with totems if you chose to ignore them is devour hope and maybe crowd control. Like, with the build here. If the survivors just did gens all they'd be suffering is obliviousness and facing against the doctor. Dunno how there's been such a community uproar for a meta they can just ignore since from what I've seen killers hardly running them. Plus, not like there isn't a direct counter to this whole entire build in a certain Jill perk, that'd be too ridiculous.

I personally dont believe in "diversity at all costs". But that might just be me. Its okay if one playstyle is better than another, thats how most multiplayer video games that get competitive work. Not every build is created equal, and thats okay. Not every build has to be as strong as a slowdown build.

Unfortunatly they reworked demogorgons lifegaurd wistle. Anyway on doc I use the addon that makes your shock a beam so you can snipe the totems

you know solo que exist. And geting to 5 stacks isn't really that hard. Tho really all you need is to get 3 hooks.

@@tmoney1487 well accualy using that build was no brainer. + Thrill was strong on 10% but every one sleapt on it. It got popular after it got busted.
