It is good bro. I am 2021 BTech pass out. He is correct that competition is high but if you work hard you can grab 10-15LPA jobs. College se zaada khud ki capability pe depend karta h placement. Even in IITs people go unplaced.

Go for Thapar if you are getting it. But if fees is a problem then go for VIT.BITS>IIIT-H>>>>Thapar>VIT These are best in private colleges.

Thapar coe would be worth it. Vit is much crowded + most thapar undergrads often crack ivory league colleges for Masters
