Hey great video I have a question, you only covered what would happen if Sol went up in price (you get less sol in return) but what happens if sol drops in price? Do you in that instance get more solana back whilst also getting your usdc+fees?
Hey this is called impermanent/divergence loss, which i talk about from 02:30, this is when you deposit a token and the token goes down in value, If you deposited 1 SOL at $50 and the price of $SOL fell to $40, if you go to withdraw your liquidity at that time, you would be getting $40. Please watch the part 2 of this video, i talk about it again: ua-cam.com/video/dAgMwDi5fgU/v-deo.html
Hi, yes i do, when you go to my profile, there's a small search bar next to 'community' (not the main youtube search), just search 'defi' and there are a couple of videos, cheers!

Yes. The pool adjusts the ratio of SOL to USDC, giving you more SOL and less USDC to maintain balance.
@@SebMontgomery So if I want to keep accumulating sol I should do this when I expect a downturn in solanas price right
well done
Thanks!

how do you calculate what you would get from the rewards
The liquidity pool gives the APY, but it changes so you can't calculate it.
Hi there. Orca web doesn’t work in the UK. Any advice please ? Would VPN work ?
Yes, a VPN would work. I'm using Nord VPN.
