The "anonymous" trucker videos are usually released by the employer, not the driver. So there will be no excuses. The driver has likely been fired and their CDL revoked. This one looked like the driver fell asleep or was texting. A medical emergency is also a possibility, though in that case the employer probably wouldn't have released the video.
was looking for this in the comments. video doesn’t show turn signal so there’s no way to know if/when the semi started to signal, to me it looked like the pickup was accelerating to pass on the left, as you’re supposed to do. & what reason would a semi have to be in leftmost lane?? and that’s even if driver was meaning to merge, almost looks like they weren’t paying attention and veered outside lines.
5:35 - Are you going to keep honking at them while they sit and wait? Or were you intending on hitting them a few more times first? Regardless of your feelings, you had ample time to slow down.
I agree with the part at the end about the dashcammer appearing to try to push the sedan with his vehicle, which is unacceptable if that's what happened. However, I disagree with your assessment of the collision, itself. That was quite the illegal U-turn, coming from the far right lane to straddle both directions of traffic, including the left turn lane in the opposite direction. The dashcammer had no idea he would need to stop so quickly, so the one changing lanes unsafely is at-fault.
Cell phones have made bad drivers worse! Driving slow in the left lane should be $5000 fine! Especially in Florida around the beaches and tourist areas! Maybe $10k! Stay out of the left lane unless you’re passing or going to turn in the next 300-400 feet! Better yet, stay off the roads period if you’re a vacationer then call an Uber, Lift, or shuttle!
Dashcams have a built-in capacitor which acts as a short-term battery, and gives them about 10-20 sec of recording time after they lose power. It's necessary because the dashcam needs power to encode the video and write it to the microSD card. Without it, the video immediately prior to a collision might not be saved.
5:40 … A great many accidents which occur in inclement weather, happen because someone realizes they are going faster than they should be, and their immediate reaction is to jam on the brakes, which initiates a skid. Better to just “ease off” of the throttle and allow the car to slow down gradually to a more reasonable speed. Put another way… slowing down is a good idea, but slowing down SUDDENLY is NOT. As long as your wheels are ROLLING, you should be able to maintain control. Once you “lock them up”, you have NO control. This is basic driving knowledge that everyone should have, but apparently many do not… which is why this happens so frequently.
4:30 I had a car do that. It was a pop and then I was making white clouds out my exhaust, but under the engine. I can't remember what broke in my car, something about water in the engine, but I was told car wasn't worth the amount to fix it.

“Oops…” 🤦♂️
5:20 what in the hell 😂
What the hell is he honking for? They can't go anywhere! Dumbas!
5:35 - Are you going to keep honking at them while they sit and wait? Or were you intending on hitting them a few more times first? Regardless of your feelings, you had ample time to slow down.
Well they need to fucken move
3:33 Where did the red car come from so suddenly?
The left side of the screen, the intersecting road.
From idiotville
You can see him crossing into and through the median.
Interesting the vehicle getting pulled over at 6:45 only has the third brake light working.
#20 - I can’t believe that dash cam kept recording.
And I thought the person who hit the bike rider was going to hit them again after the u-turn.
Dashcams have a built-in capacitor which acts as a short-term battery, and gives them about 10-20 sec of recording time after they lose power. It's necessary because the dashcam needs power to encode the video and write it to the microSD card. Without it, the video immediately prior to a collision might not be saved.
4:55 If you want to race, get on a racetrack!
Why did he keep blowing like that
He's an impatient idiot.
#21- It sure looked like the white car was turning around to finish him off, lol.
5:45 - More like they (and cammer) were driving too fast for conditions.
5:40 …
A great many accidents which occur in inclement weather, happen because someone realizes they are going faster than they should be, and their immediate reaction is to jam on the brakes, which initiates a skid.
8:48...they're out there.
8:13 …
For a second, I thought the car was going to “try again” 😂😂😂
Probably - after the driver realized he would never get the bike to cover the damages 🤣
4:30 I had a car do that. It was a pop and then I was making white clouds out my exhaust, but under the engine. I can't remember what broke in my car, something about water in the engine, but I was told car wasn't worth the amount to fix it.
Too many pickups …
8:23 am I the only one that thought the car was gonna come back around and finish the job? LMAO
I definitely was thinking that 😂😂😂
If at first you don't succeed...
First, but not gonna brag about it
Good, because people who comment "first" are typically narcissist's wanting attention.
🍪
Did you run any redlights getting here?🤣🤣
You are last on the comment list.
@@michaelcandela1107 sos yur mum..
Thank God he had his DND Performance Steering Wheel that gave him 100% control of the car
Every clip makes my blood pressure rise!
6:00 Expensive mistake for the semi driver.
