Sophia Gager Yes please! I just moved my hydrangea (Bigleaf) because it was getting too much sun on south side of home. It was a cool few days and then got hot as a mug! Wilted. However, been watering like crazy! I’d been wanting to move it for 3-4 years because it wasn’t in good spot. It’s not bloomed in 2 years. So I said all that to say or ask, how to prune this Bigleaf would be appreciated! I live in Michigan. 🤗

Found this video and barely finished watching , went to garden center and bought 5 limelight’s , planted them the 18th of July 2020 (whew a lot of work) and keeping my fingers crossed. We too have harsh winters . Glad you gave an update. Can’t tell you how many plants I’ve purchased because of your videos. Thank you so much for all of the work you put into these quality videos. Hi Laura I did add my limelight hydrangea almost a yr ago-- it is blooming beautifully & the only thing I've done is add miracle grow mix & scotts black mulch-- I dead head early spring-- even though plant said hydrangea dwarf-- my limelight is full & a great size!! I've added different varieties to my front landscape-- excited already with the results. I'm thinking to try the fertilizer you mentioned-- just at the base of plant. ❤🌸🙏

Omigosh. I was wondering and I swear YT read my
    Mind. The babies look great!!!!
    My limelight’s (zone 7) are
The talk of the neighborhood. I did not touch them for 5
Years after planting abs I swear they looked better every year. I did a 1/3 prune 2 years ago and still
    Had spectacular results.
My soil settled I realized around my house where the babies are planted. I bet / wonder if this is why I saw more
Spindly legs this spring … 🤔

Perfection💜 so so beautiful. We got so lucky and ended up with quite a couple. Didn’t think to get any this summer just becouse by next summer we might be moving. But just could not resist our hydrangea collection or obsession just keeps on growing lol. Actually it’s been fun experimenting with them. They take great to our soil here in North Carolina. There has been so much rain two weeks straight and two more to come🌧. Wish I could send some rain over to y’all. They love the sun here only problem with so much rain and scorching sun have to watch them. So far only our pinky winkys didn’t bloom like they should becouse of weather and a vanilla strawberry got some burn on blooms but blooms still growing. Oh and our poor bourdeux in flower bed doesn’t take well to so much rain ☹️. Yours is beautiful everything turned out gorgeous 💚💚💚💚💚💚

Just think of all the new plants you'll be able to propagate just from cutting it back to maintain height! My Lime Light seems to have a fungus of some type causing the leaves to turn a funky color, then to yellow... I cut the infected branches off & burned them. I hated to do it because of the beautiful blooms😞

Thank you for the great update video. I have learned so much from your videos and truly appreciate the knowledge. I have 4 limelight standards and 7 little limes that are 1 year old as well. They all have lots of floppy branches from the heavy flowers, especially after a rain. Is any harm done by leaving the blooms or should I cut the flowers to relieve pressure on the limbs? I assume each year they will become less floppy. Thanks again.
