Love the saw but I do have one serious question. Why did Husqvarna put such a short bar with this powerhead ? It needs a 24"-28" bar minimum. A 20" like they ship with them is way under what it actually is tuned for at the Factory. I was lucky enough to obtain the program for the New XP electronic models, 550, 572, 592 here in America (i know they have European only versions as well...why I have no clue but that's their choice) but like I said I have the tunining and diagnostic program downloaded and can plug the 550 mk 2 the 572 and 592 in and get a report of everytime the saw was started, what rpm it ran what duration of time, what auto tune adjustment its made how many full throttle pulls it made, you can really learn a ton from the information you can download from a particular powerhead. The factory specs for each powerhead suggests that its tuned for at least a 24" bar and in most cases from the data I've seen from several new 572 xp powerheads so far a 28" bar fits right in the rpm ranges and power under full throttle numbers....just wondering if you might know why the company prefers to under power them ? Even tbe 592 only comes with a 20" or 24" inch bar & chain and honestly the professional loggers/Fallers like me who purchase these would never run that short of a bar on them ever Honestly they should not be used even with less than a 28" bar based on the base horsepower numbers for a 592 My guess is its because its more cost effective to sell them with a smaller bar and chain that 99% of the time never gets put on the saw to begin with or is it because they want to protect the warranty ? Does using a longer bar right out of the box void warranty or something like that maybe ? It just does not make any sense to build a powerhead meant for the bigger bar right out of the box new and then sell it with a weekend firewood cutter bar on it ? Just curious as to the "REAL" reason they do this.
