    Fascinating. I think the main thrust of all these laws and principles is to encourage us to be trustworthy in all our endeavors, a principle Bahá'u'lláh spends many of His writings praising. There are even prayers for trustworthiness. For example:
    _I beseech Thee, O my God, by all the transcendent glory of Thy Name, to clothe Thy loved ones in the robe of justice and to illumine their beings with the light of trustworthiness. Thou art the One that hath power to do as He pleaseth and Who holdeth within His grasp the reins of all things, visible and invisible.-Bahá’u’lláh_

    Blessed is the one who acknowledges God and His wonders, and who confesses that He is not to be questioned about what He does.

    Dear Friends .do you know why not all Bahai books have not been translated yet with correct punctuation for correct understanding ?Why no t with the order of Independent, Individual, Investigation of TRUTH, with Harmony of science and Religion. considering no clergy exist in Bahai faith, and we should not be subject to any opinion of others who might need to read for us, why we have not been empowered to be able to do so? why not first to know what was said before we could even accept or teach the faith? Any one knows why Not?

      It takes time and resources. Translation of the holy writings takes extra extra care and time and linguistic experts in order to do justice.
      If whatever has been translated, already, does not convince people to tap into the fountain of truth and believe in cause of Bahá’u’lláh, nothing would even if every single word of God get translated in a perfect eloquent precise manners,
      Those who have receptive souls and open heart and mind, even one of the tablets of Bahá’u’lláh is enough for them to see his brilliant lights,
      Having said that, I am sure plans as always have made to get all the holy writings translated and available to all humanity in their mother languages.
      We just, yet, do not have enough man powers and many other resources to expedite that process.
      This is my thought,
      🙏🏾🙏🙏🏿

    The quote at 34:33 is not from the Guardian, but was written on his behalf to an individual, presumably in the UK, as it is published in Unfolding Destiny.
    "21 November 1936
    With reference to the absolute pacifists, or conscientious objectors to war; their attitude, judged from the Bahá'í standpoint, is quite anti-social and due to its exaltation of the individual conscience leads inevitably to disorder and chaos in society. Extreme pacifists are thus very close to the anarchists, in the sense that both these groups lay an undue emphasis on the rights and merits of the individual. The Bahá'í conception of social life is essentially based on the principle of the subordination of the individual will to that of society. It neither suppresses the individual nor does it exalt him to the point of making him an anti-social creature, a menace to society. As in everything it follows the 'golden mean'. The only way that society can function is for the minority to follow the will of the majority.
    The other main objection to the conscientious objectors is that their method of establishing peace is too negative. Non-co-operation is too passive a philosophy to become an effective way for social reconstruction. Their refusal to bear arms can never establish peace. There should be first a spiritual revitalisation which nothing, except the Cause of God, can effectively bring to every man's heart.
    (Shoghi Effendi, The Unfolding Destiny of the British Baha'i Community, p. 435)
    This is slender grounds for establishing a general principle. The exact status which Shoghi Effendi has intended the friends to give to those communications he sends to individual believers is explained in the following statement written through his secretary to the National Assembly on November 16, 1932:
    ========
    “As regards Shoghi Effendi’s letters to the individual Bahá’ís, he is always very careful not to contradict himself. He has also said that whenever he has something of importance to say, he invariably communicates it to the National Spiritual Assembly or in his general letters. His personal letters to individual friends are only for their personal benefit and even though he does not want to forbid their publication, he does not wish them to be used too much by the Bahá’í News. Only letters with special significance should be published there.
    (On Behalf of Shoghi Effendi, US Bahai News Issue 71 February 1933, page 1)
    ==========
