I don’t think I’ve ever seen an AI react that way on defense without the player controlling them. It’s crazy how these older gen football games have better AI than current gen Madden
I remember this game. This was the game that was at the old Wal-Mart displays whenever you play them demos. This game is on point but wishing it could complete with 2K and Madden
@@TheUncleSpiderX no, its the NFLs fault for being lazy and wanting a monopoly. EA asked the NBA for a monopoly and the NBA rejected it, they want more people making NBA games.
There was a game mode where you would play historic teams in some type of tournament, me and my sister used to play on the same team and we could never get past the 1989 49ers….. the sideline catch animations in this game were ahead of its time too
The trailer for NFL Fever 2002 that came included in the original Halo CE copy, is what got me knowing about the game in the first place. I played the 2003 demo that came in those demo disks and months ago I got 2002 for 2 bucks at a hobby store turned weed store.
NBA Inside Drive was one of my favorite Basketball Sims. When Microsoft Studios decided to make Sports titles they hired Devs from the Original 2K Franchises because they used to work for Sega and were unemployed
Not gon lie. I was drinking my juice and soon as that beat dropped. I stopped just when tray stopped talking. Hit the Harlem shake with the Millie rock real quick 💯💯🕺🏾🤷🏾♂️😂 0:40
These graphics were FIRE in 2002 when this dropped. This game came out when I was in high school. The OG xbox was graphically superior to gamecube and ps2. NFL 2K3 was probably the best game that year though.
This and NBA Inside Drive got countless hours. I'd go to pick my friend up for school and we'd play these until noon. I had some trancy issues for sure.
This was a fun game. It may not have been Madden or NFL 2K, but the fact there were so many licensed NFL games in the ecosystem just made everything fun. Everything until 2005 when EA ruined EVERYTHING. I will play ESPN NFL 2K5 and All Pro Football 2K8 until EA loses the license and other companies can make their own NFL games again.
I remember buying NFL Fever 2002 and Halo the day Xbox was released. My friends and I played the hell outta Fever, but it was a really shallow football game that we grew tired of after a couple months. The graphics were absolutely jaw dropping back then tho.
NFL Fever was so much fun. I would get 2K, Madden & Fever. Then I'd play them in a rotation, depending on which game I was in the mood for. Defense was super satisfying when you user'd or baited QBs into a bad throw.
I remember this game. My Xbox friends had it. I was blown away when I first saw them playing it. Fever was the first football game with towels if I'm not mistaken?
Fever was the real deal. I miss all the alternative choices to madden, ncaa, nba live, mlb, etc. All brought different pros/cons. Monopolies really dried things up.
@16:46 raunchy never played ball in his life lmao he got two pulling lineman and instead of following his guys he ran into the defense 😂 it’s a td or big play if he stay left
Man this game was graphically insane in 03 and it still holds up pretty well in 2024
Compare it to N64 madden '02
@@sKraat528nobody was playing madden 02 on n64 back in 01 🤦. It’s on played on ps2 gc and Xbox and it looked great also.

Damn. Ed Reed did Peyton exactly like Belichik described. That's crazy.

Just imagine where these games would be if they were able to keep the license. This was not bad at all
Nah that Ed reed play was phenomenal 😂😂
the way the towel moves for a 2003 game is crazy
Trust me we said that back then.

When sports games had multiple companies and was competitive.
2K upset the NFL by selling 2k5 for $20 then Madden got the exclusive license
Facts and college it was a good time to be alive
Monopolies suck. Competition keeps you on your toes.
@@sp123so it’s 2K fault

Man fever was one of the best back in the day and the Pharrell soundtracks were perfect for that time. We need more fever vids Tray for real.
This is what made the ps2 n original Xbox a great era because sports had competition n that’s why madden n 2k was great because they had competition
This game was UNBELIEVABLE back then! The response time was ahead of its time for sure, once you got used to the controls it was a wrap.
This was special in its time
Tray stay unlocking childhood gaming memories

The spin move was the way to break all tackles no matter what direction
Madden could take some notes and use the camera when you throw the football down the field

Nfl Fever and NFL 2k4🔥🔥🔥🔥 good times as a kid
I absolutely loved this game!!! I played the Hell out of it. May have to dig this one out for the nostalgia.
This takes me way back, I remember playing it in circuit city, this was the best child hood in my opinion
I was hooked on this as a child
14:52 Lol it's bringing back memories. I remember QB draw always sucked in this game and the spin move was OP.

What camera do you use for recording?
Best passing system/controls of all time. Gotta do advanced passing. Fingers crossed insignia supports this game sooner than later
The passing mechanics were legit and way ahead of it's time!

On this game the weather affected the kicker. In a dome and with a good kicker the arrow was slower. I hated how the players tripped all the time.

Why they running look smoother than current madden
