You and Anastasia are my first 'go to' teachers. You explain so well and have s great voice, Anastasia doesn't speak in English but clearly and effectively in Swedish.
Great question! Yes. The kombination rd makes the r very soft. Almost like we dont say it so it kind of becomes like only 1 consonant coming after the o (since the r is quite silent) therefore the long o. Thanks for your question!!
Love these lessons, but long and short pronunciations are really drilled into the viewer a bit more than it should be. Maybe that’s just me, though; I’m a pretty fast learner.
Happy you liked it. Some people are like you, fast learners and some needs a bit more repetition. Hard to please everyone but thanks for the feedback :)
Good question. Non of them since Ö is a completly different letter in Swedish but it would be a long Ö. So it sounds a bit like Malmöööö. Hej FS I would not be popular for calling my Soppor Sopor in Svenska. Good clear teaching Daniella and all the best to you.
Hej AR, thanks for your comment. Now you know it and can avoid that mistake 😊

Hi, thank you for mentioning to have three different ways of saying for O
Any time! Thanks for watching our video!
How about "bord" or "jord"? Does the rd combination make the o long?

Sorry for saying, but you have uploaded the video again

I should probably mention, just a heads up. We don't pronounce English opera that way, at least where I live. It's more ah-per-a.
Don't know where you're from, but in my native English is "oP-Ra"
@@olavsantiago You can say either. But you don't pronounce it like Oprah, like Oprah Winfrey, like the person
Fiskekôrka
What about Malmö would it be a long O or short?
