As a keyboard worship leader as well I have heard many good voices and musicians over the years and also poor singers and musicians and the Lord has reminded me that he looks and listens to the heart. I have been convicted at times hearing singers off key and even painful to listen to and the Lord checks me and says look at them they are really worshiping Me. But Lord I am singing the song and on key! He says Yeah? Ouch ok I get it. Worship is not just singing. All that to say. Let us remember that the lord looks at and listens to the heart of worship! Yes I agree! The heart of worship is our hearts fully abandoned to God and asking God for a pure heart and motive as we sing. Even though we aren't perfect I know God will change our hearts. Also yes love Tommy! Had the pleasure of hanging out with him for a couple of days! Humble and down to earth guy!
