Great job with that room. While I am not a huge fan of the pink, it was awesome to see the strategy of how your "dear helper" attacked the job. I have a plan on repainting my entire house after my son and his family move out, so I love watching things like this. I have never heard of smelly paint additives though, so I will have to look into that. Thanks for sharing. 😀
It smells so good. It is actually a really small room and I could not find a light enough orange so I went with pink. We had so much fun doing the room though!

It is kinda a sad story. All of our dog are really really old and we are waiting to do the floors in the rest of the house because they like carpet. After quite a bit of talk we thought doing them this way will make it easier to transition into rest of house.

I am definitely not a pink fan, but your work is beautiful. I’m sure that you are thoroughly enjoying your newly renovated space. 👍🏼 To be 100%, you referring to your husband as “dear helper” is annoying at best. My husband is my best friend, he’s my partner, he’s still my sweetheart after almost 44 years……but I would never label him as my “dear helper”. Your husband may not mind, might even think it’s “cute”. I’m sorry, but to another woman (almost 63 years young) it borders on nauseating. But that’s really between you and him. It just doesn’t come across very well.

My favorite color is Orange but it is such a small room I wanted to use light and bright colors so it didn’t shrink it.

Oh we didn’t show the new vent and lights good catch. The chair is sadly not very comfortable on the bottom.
