A famous hadith details several saving virtues and ends with the Prophet (pbuh) summarizing, "Shall I not tell you how to achieve all of this?" He took a hold of his tongue and said, "Restrain this."
Restraint of the tongue has been considered by scholars to be a central prerequisite to character development. This course is based on the famous text "Maharim al-Lisaan" by Imam Muhammad al-Mawlud (d. 1323 H/1905 C.E.), and will provide students with a deeper understanding of moral and immoral speech, its effects, and ways to protect one's self from spiritual harm.
I testify that nothing worthy of worship but Allah. And I testify that Muhammad is the last Messenger and servant of Allah.
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ

1. Watch Dr. Asim Yusuf's Series on him then read his book delivered he doesn't only talk about tassawuf but he also talks about philosophy and other sects.
2. read the Ihya Ulum Al diin and it will be kinda long and it will be kinda hard to finish it but who really finishes the ihya I mean imam nawawi said كاد الأحياء ان يكون القرآن the ihya nearly became the quran and it means in the sense that everytime you read it you get new insights and benefits.
3. and then just take the seekers guidance ihya classes. or Ali goma's if u know Arabic.
So true . I can testify that when ALLAH S.W.T has allowed me true my inner self journey and spacialy true late night times prayers. I did not know how to describe it or discuss it with someone because I was scared to be called a full after trying to explain some to my wife to start with. But the day I had accidently true ALLAH'S mercy one book that led me to imam Al ghazali, I than realize how real my journey was as he spoke about it . Sorry for being long. Just so full joy to see that other brothers and sisters are so close to ALLAH S.W.T true love and mercy ❤❤❤ Bless

I really relate to Sheikh Hamza Yusuf, as I'm a revert from California and I love the deep connection that he really tries to explain to people, many I know, who are born Muslim, just don't understand, so these videos have really helped me explain things in a deeper way to my husband who is Egyptian. I'd love to see the rest, but however, there is no way we could afford the monthly or yearly subscriptions. $9.99 is a great price if you have US currency, but we don't, and for us that's almost 200le and the yearly is almost 2,000le. Is there a way you can offer these at prices comparable to the countries they are purchased in? There are so many in Egypt who are Muslim, but have no understanding of what they were born to. And more and more younger people are turning, not to Christianity, but to atheism. Subhanna Allah. I pray that more people watch these and really understand how much Allah loves us. Ameen ya Rabb.

I always thought the incorruptible as "what even earth could not digest", it may be both a punishment for people like Pharoah of Moses' time because their bad deeds are so bad that even earth can not accept them on the other hand as Shaeikh Hamza Yusuf described here being incorruptible can be a blessing for some saints, still I feel it can be deciving to declare it is good or bad.

It's amazing how the scholars are slowly going away. One day our kids have nobody to listen to. I have listened to this man's lectures for a long time, and I am realizing that even his lectures are now mostly 7-12 years old and new ones are getting more rare. I have a question for learned men who may be willing to answer. We learned from childhood that Isa Ibn Maryam will return and we have many ahadith that confirmed this. However, in recent time there are muslims who now believe Jesus is not coming back with one, single hadith that trashed all ahadith contrary to it.
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ هِلاَلٍ ـ هُوَ الْوَزَّانُ ـ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ
" لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى، اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسْجِدًا ". قَالَتْ وَلَوْلاَ ذَلِكَ لأَبْرَزُوا قَبْرَهُ غَيْرَ أَنِّي أَخْشَى أَنْ يُتَّخَذَ مَسْجِدًا.
Narrated 'Urwa:
Aisha said, "The Prophet in his fatal illness said, 'Allah cursed the Jews and the Christians because *they took the graves of their Prophets as places for praying."'* Aisha added, "Had it not been for that the grave of the Prophet ﷺ would have been made prominent but I am afraid it might be taken (as a) place for praying.

Based on this hadith, their argument is, who was the prophet of Nassara?. Their prophet was Isa(no doubt). Implication is that, if Isa(as) was their prophet, then, he is dead as indicated in the hadith. Note that Christians are not Nassara. To translate Nassara to christian is the worst mistake made by Quran translators. Christianity came from Rome. Nassara from Nazarene (Israelites).
So how do you reconcile this hadith with so many ahadith which say Jesus is coming back?

Does anyone know the meaning of when the brother says “ you see yourself as insignificant but all the the cosmos resides in you” at about 6.30?? .Shukran in advance..
He is using it as a metaphor.
He is saying that..out in universe their are so many complex and marvelous systems working continuously with out fault.
And in our body too ...their are so many systems working continuously giving us capability of living this life.
Some people are trying to convey you that all of this are for nothing and it's existence is meaningless.
So Shaikh is replying for that as...this is for some purpose even your body is like some universe working for some purpose too.
he confirms science, that claims that we are created from stardust, our bodies are made of evolved matter, like Carbon and Oxygen, matter that needed whole generations of stars to evolve.
in islam we are insignificant, only demon alla matters
but in reality we ARE the cosmos, the Universe
unlike this alla, we are real and true
because we do not exist in the beliefs of muhamed, we are real, we are part of reality
muhamedans are lost and confused, they can not deny our superior science
every atom in our body proves islam to be a lie
so muhamedans mix lies with truth, here your "brother"mentions a truth, we ARE stardust and the universe is as much within us as it is all around us

and we can study reality to know ourselves better
