If there was a twist that the Brutes were related to humanity, therefore were descendants of the Forerunners. Which means they could use their technology, which they did without any human help. It could also explain why the Prophets chose them to replace the Elites, for they could also be reclaimers and so justified the change. Such a realization would put a dent to Catherine Halse’s ego as she realized humanity is no longer special and their role as the inheritors of the Forerunners is also shared with a savage war like race. Atriox wouldn’t care as he never let that get to his head unlike Halsey (due to his hatred of the Prophets), he would be glad that the Forerunners technology could be used without finding a human.
@@coletrain583 That would be an interesting twist, considering that humans evolved from primates and the Jiralhanae seem to have evolved from primates on their planet too. Although this would cause a plothole of why didn't the San'Shyuum just use Jiralhanae to activate Forerunner installations and atrifacts, instead of kidnapping humans. As much as I like this idea, I don't think they would use this as even in Infinite, the Banished used Lucas Browning to release the Harbinger from her cylax.
@@coletrain583 I dont think humans are descendants of forerunners. They are seemingly two different species from different planets from what i've gathered. Also if the brutes were reclaimers then i think the prophets would've wanted them dead like they wanted with the humans.
I don't feel bad at all ngl after how many human worlds got glassed by the covenant and the fact that the brutes were fighting humanity for no reason after the end of the covenant war id say they deserved it
Doisac was somewhere I had hoped to see in a game one day but I honestly love the decision to destroy it, added a good amount of weight and understand to what the Banished have been doing. Was very Star Wars like and i loved it
"Your Created. The false god Cortana destroyed my world... MY HOME!!!! But, she could not kill the fire that BURNS within the heart of the Banished. IT. MADE. US. STRONGER!!!!" These lines from Escharum really made me feel bad for the Jiralhanae. Haven't they suffered enough already? Sure they did some horrible things, but no sentient species deserves extinction let alone this.
If they push the line so far and even cross it, then there's nothing we can do to save them. They will become an evil of such like the Flood. Impossible to redeem.
What's really sad is that functionally the Jiralhanae were effectively culturally similar to Bronze age Humanity, with steam age tech. They were destructive brutes by nature, but with time left to their own development this could have changed for the better. Of course the Prophets changed all that.
They likely wouldn't have progressed much more than when the covenant found them. They had already f**ked themselves over enough to regress, technology speaking, by an absurd degree.
Hopefully 343 has added some details in the Halo Encyclopedia about the other colony worlds rich in resources and on another system that were said to have been given to the Jiralhanae by the Covenant and that has continued to be inhabited after the human-covenant war, especially after Doisac's destruction. There could easily at least be millions of Brutes among all these different colony worlds. But the question is if 343 will talk about it. I think they really need to so that they can assure people the Brutes aren't going extinct or something and that there's still plenty of Brutes on these other worlds with females. Overall, they've never given us too much lore on the Brutes and that's a shame. They should dive deeper on culture and life on these other Brute worlds and how Doisac's destruction has impacted them and even how the Banished could benefit and bolster their numbers by capitalizing on Doisac's destruction to unify the Brutes and how they need to stick together and not continue civil war to grow instead of diminish their numbers and unite more than they've ever been united.
He talk so highly of himself and thinks there is no one else to challenge the Banished. But the swords of Sanghilios will not just hid they will fight for their home. For clan and kin.
It really sucks that Doisac was destroyed. It would’ve been great to see what Brute society and infrastructure was like compared to the Elites. To me I imagined they be close to what Scandinavian villages or Mongolian war camps would be like. Since the the Jiralhanna is a warmongering race so they wouldn’t really be having many modern or advanced infrastructures. Maybe during the time of the Covenant but I think the Brutes greatly regressed after the Great Schism.
So...is anyone going to point out that Jiralhanae females for the most part never left Doisac? Unless Atriox has one heck of an Ace up his sleeve, the Jiralhanae may end up being a dying race.... >.>

I doubt it'd happen, but I just had a thought. Escharum ordered for two to take his place in the event of his death. What if Pavium and Voridus were able to redeem themselves (like a certain event in Divine Wind they took advantage of) and took over as joint War Chiefs? Lol
@@WhyTho525 obviously. It's a crazy idea to think they could find a way off the Ark. That's why Atriox is still there. Oh wait, he's not. It was just a funny idea. Those two would find a way to efficiently screw it up somehow.

Could there be a way that they could rebuild Doisac with the right Forerunner technology? Wouldn’t the destruction of Doisac wreak havoc of the moons that used to orbit it?
@@toddbatchelder9380 I kinda hope that happens for them. While I prefer the Sangheili the Brutes still didn’t deserve the destruction of their homeworld and probably colony moons around Doisac

Same. On my opinion, the Brutes should've served as the main enemy units after Halo 3.
