7:36-7:48 was one of the greatest combos I’ve ever seen. Starting out with the jumping needles Plup pretty much went ultra instinct and was like “alright Mango thats enough.” But ggs to Mango, easily the best Falco in the game.
Been watching melee since 2013 and that was the most beautiful set I’ve ever seen. It almost brought a tear to my eye. Mango is fighting to maintain his legacy, giving hope to all Falco players, and those who play melee with a certain flare, style, and love. Defeating these players with Falco in this ruthless meta is something else.
Beautiful. I feel you bro. Melee is an art and tells a story. The culmination of all of a players experience is put through the fire and squished into 5 minutes each game.
I honestly loved every single one of the summits, this is the real tournament. The important one. Genesis and Apex are top notch too, but this right here is the real deal.
let's be real tho, he wasn't coming top 3 in every event in the 1st half of the year (but top 5 is still very good, just not what his best would look like) Q42018 mango is definitely not washed tho, he's probably at his peak now, only hbox is holding him back from actually winning a major again

I think the most destruction is self-destruction in Plup's case. Him becoming the next best in Melee isn't a matter of him improving more than it is overcoming himself and not getting in his own head. I do that a lot and get real anxious and it becomes hard to function normally even when nothings really wrong. He should see a therapist or something

these two have some of the sickest sets. plups sequence at the end of game 1 is still one of the filthiest things i've seen in melee
