Plushy Baby Episode 04: Derpy Needs Help

The series!
This particular plushie is part of a project where I'm trying to design a bunch of alien characters by combining creatures from a video game franchise in groups of three. Since I'm more familiar with a squishy yarn medium, I'm choosing to knit and/or crochet them.
This is a process that takes two passes. The first pass is just to get the fusion itself set and totally figured out, while the second one is the "actual" character.
The thing is, I don't want to step on any toes. So if you can see what went into this fusion despite my not really using the colors that the original creatures were (hence my taking samples from the three creatures I used and using those colors to make the question marks of the thumbnail), please leave notes in the comments and also give me suggestions on how to lessen the effect (example of a helpful comment: "I think you used Creature X because of the wings; you might want to change their shape if you're going to keep them."). I'd really appreciate the help!
(Future characters from this project set are more fleshed out, so I could talk about them more when I get to them; Derpy doesn't have anything connected to him.)
