Why do the police parade people who have been arrested on suspicion of committing crimes before they are tried and convicted in the court of law? This happens frequently and it seems to come from the legacy of military rule and must stop; because people should not be presumed to be guilty of an offence until a court of law says so. Also, I noticed that the media and other non-security persons are sometimes allowed to interview or interrogate people who have been arrested and paraded by the police; is this part of Nigeria's judicial due process? Will that not contaminate police evidence in the courts? Make una no vess o, I just de want beta Naijeria.
