That's why I am not in a school or a course to learn Korean! First: I prefer learning by myself, respecting my time. And second reason is that there are excellent teachers in UA-cam! When I watch Miss Vicky, I feel Wi-Fi is being paid for a good use(◠‿◕)😂
Congratulations 언니 for 100K subscribers Last night I've checked they were 99.9K and finally 100K completed ...it's all by your precious and valuable hard work👍🤗 Congratulations once again축하해요🤗♥️
Hi, can I ask you one thing? I'm a beginner in learning Korean, I only know how to write letters in Hangul and a few words. But there's something that bothers me cause I don't get it: what are the rules for dividing in syllables? I know about graphic syllables and patchim/batchim but in a polysyllable how can you know how it's divided and written? Especially since in Korean you can have "c+v" or "c+v+c" or "c+v+c+c".(I know a vocal can't be without "ㅇ" or a consonant first). I know I'm bad at explaining myself so I'll do an example with "dallyeosseo/달렸어". If someone tells it to me without writing it down and without me knowing the word in advance how can I know it's written "달+렸+어" and not, for example, "달+려+써"? I don't know if I'm the only one who doesn't understand how this works, cause I can't find an answer anywhere. Thank you for your video and thank you if you'll answer me or suggest me a video where it's explained.
it would be in the past tense video in miss vicky channel. you need to understand the past tense to know the difference ( i think) and as the word is in the past tense in your example. Also you won't be given that word unless ins. Conversational speech or when your writing something in past tense ( if that makes sense and sorry if it is being mistook in the way I meant)
i guess this is something to be done with practice , well think of your own language, whichever it is, you might not know every single word in it but if you are spoken a word and asked to write its spelling, you will get it, probabaly 99%,similarly in korean , as you get to know words ,you will know the spelling as well, Keep calm and work on it, i am also a learner, hope we can do it well ,화이팅!
Hi Miss Vicky!!! I'll make sure to watch your video right after, but since I'm early I have a question not related to this video :) What's the difference between 모두 and 다? And what does "모두 다" mean please ? Thank you for your hardwork have a nice day :)
Ohhh geez I was typing the answer but halfway through I got lost myself haha. They are mostly the same meaning and used interchangeably, but in certain cases, it sounds awkward to say 모두 and 다 sounds right, and vice versa. I’m sure you know that they both mean “all,” and in some cases they are adverbs, and in other cases nouns, but it’s quite difficult to explain the differences in detail here. I'll actually need more time to think. I will try to clarify this maybe on an Instagram post or one of my future videos. But for your last question, 모두 다 also means “all.” It is used when you want to emphasize “everything without one single thing missing” or “something’s completely done.” I hope this helps for now! Hope you keep up the hard work :)
It’s difficult to explain because they’re not in sentences. So let me attach 하다 after. 많게 하다 to make it a lot 많이 하다 to do it a lot 높게 하다 to make it high 높이 하다 to hold it up high 없게 하다 to make it disappear 없이 하다 to do without 빠르게 하다 to make it fast, to do quickly 빨리 하다 to do quickly Check out naver 국어사전 also if you can. It’s always good to understand language in its own language.
And I want to tell you that I have already learned Arabic , Urdu it’s my mother tongue , English and now I am learning Korean so please help me to learn this fabulous language ☺️❤️
Thank you 빅키샘! But is it true that if 동안 is used, we use 얼마 even with verbs and adjectives? For example, are "얼마나 배웠어요?" and "얼마 동안 배웠어요?" grammatically correct?

안녕하세요 I have a question... Why do I sometimes hear "다" being used at the end of sentences? Like "그렇다. 난 목이 쉬었다" and "난 집에 간다". I heard these sentences from someone but I confused :( ... "다" comes at the end of the verbs stem in the dictionary and should be removed, but when can we use "다" except for the dictionary form of the verbs?
Yes the line at the top of ㅎ are sometimes written vertically and sometimes horizontally. And I honestly have no idea why either haha. Also when you’re typing, depending on which font you’re using, different ㅎ is typed. It’s just something that you’ll get used to :)
