When Kenny digs & tunes in on SRV . Chris & Reese & if Tommy was here has to bring on heart felt feelings. Not many can or lucky enough & honored to play with DT & pull it off! huge huge texas boots to fill on stage . Awesome post!!
Kenny is for me the greatest blues guitar player alive. The feeling he has cannot be assessed in a technical way. His soul is in his fingers that he flashes up and down that fretboard. Brilliant stevie ray tribute. This is absolutely top notch.
Aloha Arya !!! What a slamming good video of such a great preformance!!! KWS was on fire!!! Also great solo by Reece! Looks like I have a lot of great music to catch up on in your channel!!! Mahalo!
Ohhhhh!! Thank you so very much for doing this! It’s soooo good to see them play together! Kenny, I’ve never heard anyone play it as well as Stevie before! Excellent job, sir, excellent job! Sooooo frickin good!!🙆🏻♀️🎶🎸🎵❤️🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥
Yes. Tomorrow marks the day of the crash 😭 you have been greatly missed all these years by a great many people, Stevie ♥ good to see Whipper and Chris. I wonder why no Shannon?
Hey K., I was there when you met EVH at Greatwoods 98 in MA at his soundchk. Lip action! You had a great night. VH didn't when Cherone lost his pipes. T'was a bummer, but he was back the next night tearin' it up. : D
I was there !!!! I was happy going back to see KWS again the next night. When they stopped the show and said we had to go back next night I thought we'd have a riot!
@@Rockgirl24 I was sitting next to Gary Cherone's parents. Felt bad for them. Also got to play Ed's guitars through his rig that night. I'll never forget that.
@@guitartecThat's an awesome memory.!!!!! Hard to believe he's gone. I felt bad fot Gary. Maybe nerves played a role...he was pretty much in his hometown and he was the new guy a lot of people weren't sure about. I think he did a good job the 2nd night. I still have the tour book from that show.
@@Rockgirl24 Very cool. And yeah, Ed's passing is a giant loss. We knew at soundcheck Gary was not gonna make it thru the night. He was trying way too hard to please everyone. He def pulled it off second night tho
No one else comes as close to SRV’s tone, style and licks as KWS.
That was a great version, enjoyed it
I was fortunate enough to be on that cruise. Seeing this set was spectacular! ✌️❤️😎🎸🎄
Yes it was!
Kenny's the only guy that even comes close to Stevie's Lightening blues. Thanks for sharing this my friend......
Stop it, SRV wishes he was that accurate :)
SRV was good..but..KWS on another level.
@@cathyr2419nah SRV is way more accurate
Yeah buddy, anybody doing SRV that good should be proud 🤘👑
Like SRV, Kenny just swarms over the fretboard like a banshee. Domination is the word.
Proper guitar player.

That is amazing. You see all these tribute guys out there, which is a good thing but absolutely none are remotely as talented as KWS. Goosebumps
Wooooooo wow oh man !!
Have to wait for the October Legendary Rhythm & Blues West Cost Blues Cruise to see him 👍
♥♥♥♥
Go get ‘em Reese and Chris!!!
Great to see them
Thanks so much for posting this amazing music!!!!

Seen him twice and going to a third show in a few months.. Amazing is an understatement..KWS is the best. Best concerts I've been to.
Love it

Whipper is Chris! Chris ‘Whipper’ Layton. You mean Reese?

KWS is one of the best.
He is the best.
@@cathyr2419 Definitely in my top 10!
he is the only who comes close to SRV
Nope there's another guy that's comes close also, Tommy Katona
i check it out@@Anthony-qb2gr
This is not Double Trouble. While that is Chris Layton, the bass player is Kevin McCormick, not Tommy Shannon. Tommy retired years ago. Still great!!
Shepherd could have been a good blues man. He chose the "bright lights". Whatever....
Trouble is...
He can play rock and blues better than anyone today.
@@cathyr2419
He also does a great job shining a light on up and coming blues musicians. KWS is a legend.
I love KWS, but he should wear a hat. The hair throw thing to too '80s.
We love his hair.
Ripped it …
Joe is my fav but Kenny is my 2nd dammm does Joe know they stole is keyboard player ??? joe = kenny and Noah
That keyboardplayer plays in Double Trouble
