See the saga to dismantle my entire machine! Then clean, lubricate and reassemble it all screw by screw. Phew, what a choke! I thought I had pooped. 🤣 Glad it all worked out in the end!
My Singer Start 1306 sewing machine was totally out of order and I ended up taking it apart to try to fix it. Did I make it?
    The problem:
She was making a strange noise, like someone with a cold, and I could feel the machine sewing heavy and the steering wheel a little stiff and a little stuck.
That's when I got the bright idea: What if I learn how to clean and lubricate the whole thing myself? A thorough cleaning of my Singer Start 1306 machine will do you good!
So I started looking for sewing machine maintenance videos and watching tutorials on how to disassemble a Singer sewing machine (because it changes from machine to machine), especially the Singer Start 1306.
Anyway, I ended up watching videos of several Singer Sewing machines and I discovered something.
What sewing machines is this video for?
This assembly and disassembly serves as the basis for all the most modern machines that have the coil vertically, such as the Tradition 2250, the m3405, m3205 and even the m2405 (Singer Simple 3223 and 3232 too)
Everything was going fine (in fits and starts), until when it was time to put the machine back together again, I realized that it was no longer working. The stitch selector was super hard and didn't rotate at all. The points were totally unregulated!
So there I went to open it again and look for tutorial on how to regulate Singer Start1306 and how to regulate point too.
Anyway, after opening it up and doing some good tests, I found the two screws responsible for this. I adjusted the stitches again and unscrewed the dial.
It was brand new!! But I almost broke! So I suggest taking it to a sewing machine specialist in your area so you don't risk breaking your machine.
