Mind you I have nothing against a good subway system-just public authorities and mindless government leaders who write checks they can’t cash and then give bill to someone else because they can. Reinstating this right after the election was expected, but crooked. The authority and NY state government need a thorough house cleaning in response.
@@BallMuncher555 Well I tried responding but the comment keeps 'disappearing' so I guess you'll have to take my word for it.
@ try another response. Reword it.
Why the G train good to put open gangway on the BDNQ trains
What about the 1 3 and 6 ??? They have trains from the 80s like I don’t get how they operate
The 2 train is the slowest of them all.
@ it is I always tried to avoid that line
They have plans to replace those next with the R262 series of trains. Those won't be delivered until 2027-2030. They'll do overhauls on the trains that run on those lines currently like they did with the 42nd street shuttle until then.
@ that’s sad that those lines have to wait it’s sad the way they ruin the whole system
Fix the signal system
You can't fix it without replacing the old trains
So the Transplants get the newest trains? Sensacional . City always goes above and beyond for those who just moved here, never for its born and raised.
And R46 and R68 gonna Removed
The R68 won't start retirement till 2026 and 68A's till 2028-2030
@@Richard-l5q is less trains if they replace the R68/A they need to make an R268 to make up for replacement
@Richard-l5q they need to get rid of the R68a immediately
@cuttyf74 their replacing some r68 with r211s and the remaining 68s will go to N Q and W to get rid of r46 till r268 arrives
Why is the news?
I’m voting for the Mayor who is the closest to Republican
I guarantee you All new cars will smell like poop after 24 hrs.
They've been in service since February of this year and still don't stink
keep the orange seats and clean the filthy stations
@lovefromnyc homeless still going to get it dirty regardless
R211 train cars have less seating fyi
Did they finally stopped all fare beaters? How they pay for all these new trains?
Pay your fare!
they know congestion pricing will be coming. spend what they have and don’t have
R262 to SIR
I wanna say the changes are great but I have to see it to believe it
Well if you want to see the changes new trains make, look at the 7 train. It got the installation of CBTC and now it has little to no delays and trains run a lot more compared to lines without CBTC.
@@jaydenphilbertmunipals9089 yeah and I agree. That change was the best. Makes the 7 Train worth my money. That was a change I saw and glad to see! Makes the (7) one of my fav lines.
I'm saying it looks like a lot the MTA is planning to do in 2025-2029 and I really do hope that all of those changes and even more so can become a reality.
We need New more Subway train. Including
L train as well. 💫
The L already has newer trains. The focus is lines with trains that have been in service for 40+ years. The L's cars are only 20+ years old.
Take care of the homeless people, we are fine riding in a old subway.
Not possible, the old trains are breaking down basically every day
The fares going to $3 flat? Plp think this is expensive when it’s not I visited cities with $5 fares and the system isn’t as good as MTA if anything MTA should be charging $5 for excellent service. If plp don’t like it simply just move out of NY to somewhere cheaper.
“Excellent Service”? Tell us you’re not from NYC without telling us.
Great easier access to “happy Hollidays I am current homeless any one got 20 bucks to spare for food” lol even got one that asked for 100 bucks lmao
DEI hiring has been a disaster for the US
D.eprived of
E.ducation and
I.nteligence.
That's the Democrats Party Members
Cute how you think """DEI""" has to do with any of this
@iwillstareintoyoursoul9762 MTA is literally DEI they are jobs for minorities.
you not even American
Meh not impressed
The New R211 train let old the train go away because it's needs to retired
At least we need clean subway. Smell is like pee even winter. ❄️
Stations tho
Who takes the G.....
U mean toilets???
Here is a crazy idea, instead of spending hundreds of millions of dollars on new cars why don't you use the money to upgrade the infrastructure that keeps failing.
More transit traffic got it lmaooo. Higher fair got it lmaooo.
Upgrade the ridership too.
Can I have a large number one
Fares should go up so im not being tolled for your stupid upgrades that are still late and slow
Whoopie
This is a disaster! The open gangway R211T cars cannot be inspected by the crews if a brake in emergency happens or if a person is underneath the train. And they can't run on express lines for this reason either
Hell yeah!! Can’t wait to sit on these longer while the pos mta operator INTENTIONALLY delays the train to collect overtime
First they say 2025 then .they say 2027 which one...I'm excited for 2025 cause it's around the corner. Not 2027
2025 - First order
2027 - Second order
Yeah I wouldn’t blame you for getting confused, it’s like they forgot the first R211 order even existed lmao
@michaeltherailfan still better than Boston..they use the same train since the 80s and instead of replacing them all, the replace just a small portion several years ago and anytime a newer train is arriving they announce that's it's one of the newer cars just to shove it down your throat. If all the trains were replaced there'll be no need to do that but since only a few were they wanna make a big deal out of it. They've been doing that for years now. Sad. When will they stop announcing a new car is arriving? I'm good knows.
What a waste of money they should use the old train and bus until they totally breakdown and not raise fare
Better than Japan?
It’ll only be better than Japan here once we stop allowing people the freedom to act like total degenerates with no morals on public trains
🙄
One second broke raise fare then all of a sudden magically 400 brand new train cars. Foh liars.
I don’t want any more new trains or buses. Put 1 Daniel Penney on each bus or train, please
