I like to head canon them as 4 girls and 4 boys because why not. Pink, purple, yellow and red being girls and green, blue, light blue and orange as boys. I don’t know why but it’s fun.

Yo if you want karts to be assorted with colored yoshi, you gotta choose Red yoshi, Blue Yoshi in COM1, Green Yoshi in COM2 and Yellow Yoshi in COM3

Bowser Jr. both funnier and weirder. Yoshi is a species so it's not odd to have multiple Yoshis, whilst there's only one Bowser Jr. so that is strange, but that also makes it funnier at the same time
