I have seen Carl Cox about 5 times live...He is the only DJ that I come back feeling immensely recharged from every time. He has a gift that no other seems to come close to. He deserves all the hype he has and more. No one will ever take his place.

Last time he came it was on a Thursday, and he had a much smaller crowd than he deserved. But I definitely would have seen him more often if I could have. 10 years ago Carl Cox was in my top 5 favourite DJ. Now He’s on my top 3 all equals with Jef Mills and Oscar Mulero. Now master Cox control, manage much more sounds than 15/10 years ago. Playing with 8 frequencies and more is technically awesome.
Going to see this legend again for first time in 10 years. last time I saw him in Dublin was a bit disappointed am super excited after seeing this set he's got his head out of that tech house fad. Banger after banger. To the moon we go. TECHNO!

He’s not using CDJ’s but instead using a laptop with Traktor if I remember correctly. Then he uses synths, drum machines, sequencer/ MIDI controllers so he can add loops and samples with the latest top of the line Pioneer mixer. If you notice these hybrid sets he never gets off beat even the slightest like he does when he’s using CDJ’s since it’s all sync’d.
